What our Members are saying about ProBlogger.com

Posted By Darren Rowse 23rd of May 2010 ProBlogger Site News 0 Comments

The Problogger Community launched back in September 2009. Since then we’ve seen some amazing discussions and collaboration between forum members as they work together to build successful blogs.

Our members share tips on writing, SEO, monetization, help each other out with technical problems and product strategies, swap guest posts, and even launch new blogs together. Here is what some of the members are saying.

The biggest help for me is knowing that there are people at all skill levels that are still making strides in the online world. The insights into the hurdles and issues that newer bloggers are facing intrigues me and gives me hope for my own future.
– David from LifeSnips

The challenges are helpful, particularly when there is a deadline. It’s easy to keep putting things off so having some accountability helps me get things done.
– Mark from The Business Mindset

I’ve met some great people that are passionate about what they do. The energy is contagious!
– Lakita from Personal Finance Journey

I can say with certainty that the “Let’s Publish Our Ebooks” challenge actually pushed me to finally doing that after a few years of procrastination and other unimaginable excuses!
– Hart from Petlvr

The thoughts and opinions of so many bloggers at different levels is really inspiring.
– Corey from Simple Blog Coach

The community has inspired me to try somethings I wouldn’t have thought of before.
– Cynthia from TV of the Absurd

One of my favorite parts of forums is learning through the answers offered to others.
– Pat from Life out Loud

I’ve managed to connect with a few bloggers, made a few bucks doing odd jobs for bloggers too as well.
– Rhys from The Gospel According to Rhys

I could not imagine not having the forum anymore. For me it is a sort of central place where I can find an answer to all the questions I have. And I love that.
– Annemieke from Mind Structures

I like having the community as a resource. The advice and challenges are priceless.
– Denise from DeniseOberry.com

The ebook challenge was great. It helped inspire me to create and sell my first ebook.
– Jodi from Kaplan Copy

It’s great being a part of the forum community because there are so many different threads on so many different topics.
– Karen from A Meaningful Existence

Every time I have come on here to look for an answer about a specific issue I have found an answer.
– Anne from Home Schooling 911

I’ve picked the brains of some of the smartest people I’ve come across in a long time to help improve the monetization of my sites and blogs. The amount of information that can be found within these walls is priceless.
– Chris from Blippit

I have been given some very helpful advice on adding thumbnails etc when I struggled to work it out myself. It’s revitalised the look of my blog.
– Sarah from Birds on the Blog

  1. I really liked what david has said “The biggest help for me is knowing that there are people at all skill levels that are still making strides in the online world. The insights into the hurdles and issues that newer bloggers are facing intrigues me and gives me hope for my own future.”
Thanks for sharing this great post.. . Soon i am going to join problogger community, it’s really awesome.

    Thanks,
    Dev

  2. I agree; I love the ProBlogger.com forums. I joined a few months ago and they have been very valuable. The member’s of the community are extremely helpful, and I love the bonuses you give, as well. Well worth the $4.95 a month.

  3. You explain it so easy going, some times people are afraid of doing this for all the technicality etc.
    you really make it easy.
    Thank you

  4. @ Corey From Simple Blog Coach.

Good to know you feel this way about it. I like the fact of knowledge at each level, so as you grow you have people to help you out.

  5. Sounds like a pretty supportive community!

That’s the thing though. If you get some help from experienced bloggers, you get a head start…

  6. It is one of the most supportive communities on the web. If you are new to blogging it’s useful, if you are experienced you can see things with a fresh look as well as help others.

I am thrilled to be part of it, the only sad part is I have to actually do some work in the day :) or I would be there all day long, reading, learning, sharing

  7. Building momentum is the key!…

After 5 years its easy ;]

  8. You should check the script for the application form — I filled it out and receive an error notice (PHP something).

I waited a bit and tried again and tried another time, and the form complained that my email was already registered. I tried and was able to log in with my credentials, but something went wrong in the process, which didn’t acknowledge that my account had been successfully created, and misled me into believing that I had to start over…

  9. This is a great place to be. The best thing that one can do is expose himself to a community of people who are experiencing growth. And can speak from first hand. Kudos to the community!

  10. the site has inspired me the hope & I am going to stick to blogging. The people in it and their words are very helpful.

  11. Hi Darren,

I looks like it’s a good time for me to become active there again.

In the beginning it didn’t seem that active and I got too busy with other things.

Thanks for reminding me that a lot of the members are benefiting from the Problogger Community.

I will return to see what’s new there.

    Vance

  12. That is great collection Darren.

All positive energy is following in … and that is a good sign.

  13. I look forward to opening my Pro-Blogger e-mails.

As I open the new mail, I know I’ll be moving a little further toward my goals of having a visitor-friendly, optimized, and prospering an online gift shop. You take me to a new level with each article.
    Thank you.

  14. The recent newsletters has been another great edition.
    Thanks!

    Lakita

  15. I admire what you may have carried out right here. I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back again but I would assume by all of the comments that this is working for you also.

  16. This post was total heaven sent. I have sought out people amongst my local community to network with, trade out, and exchange help or ideas or actual work. Finding the ProBlogger community is really inspiring. I will be back to tomorrow to dive in for sure.

    Thanks,

    JD
