ProBlogger in the Press Page

Posted By Darren Rowse 28th of August 2005 ProBlogger Site News 2

Today I’ve added a ProBlogger In the Press page to this blog as a central place to list the mentions this blog has had in mainstream media (and some of the larger online news sources.

  1. Well, now that is a sign that things are happening for you and that your readers can trust your advice. Congrats, Darren!

  2. Good move, Darren. One thing though, I don’t like the use of the third-person. Maybe it’s okay for a proper media kit (one to attract advertising and/or to attract media publicity) but it’s still basically a page for potential new visitors to see how much coverage you are getting in the MSM.

Personally, I’d write the page up as a normal “first-person” post and then offer a link to a fully-fledged pdf “media kit”.

And I know what you’re going to say: By writing “I” have been in this media and “I” have been in that media it might make you seem like you’re tooting your own horn too much … but stiff, no one’s going to do it for you.

    just my 2 cents worth
