How to Create Easy Audio Content for Your Blog [VIDEO]

Posted By Darren Rowse 12th of December 2008 Miscellaneous Blog Tips 0 Comments

Yaro and Gideon just sent me this video as a taster from their Become a Blogger Premium program. It’s on the topic of creating online audio content for your blog.

This is a taster of the type of content that is a part of the Become a Blogger program which many of you have enrolled in (Yaro tells me they have close to 600 who have joined in total). Just a note that the price of this program goes up tomorrow – so if you’re going to get it today is the day.

Here is a PDF version of this presentation (pdf) if you prefer to read it that way.

  1. How about joining their program Darren? You can actually make it a trio program to make it more successful.

  2. This blogtalkradio program looks really cool. I’m going to have to figure out how to use that on my blog!

  3. thats really great and helpful for newer blogger thanks for the information keep up the good work Darren..

  4. I’ve been contemplating taking the jump into podcasting and think this would be a great place to start. Buying all the equipment to record a decent podcast is a little daunting for me. I could easily get into something a little more simpler like this.

    Thanks for sharing the video.

  5. Thank you for this new tech introduction. I am going to test this in my blog

  6. I’m not much of a video watcher so the whole system is not for me. I can see that some people might like this if they are not a reader. Usually you’re either someone that wants to listen or someone that wants to read something themselves.

Now if you’re creating audio content then this is a good video. But creating audio content really is not difficult.

  8. Creating audio content is not as difficult as it might seem. This is actually a great video explaining how to do just that.

  9. This looks cool. Hope their program is also good too. I’m on to checking it.

  10. As a podcast ‘veteran,’ I would strongly suggest that your audio content is focused and ‘produced.’ Simply cracking the mic and rambling is a mistake I’ve seen far too many bloggers make – even the good ones!

Content is king. Simply adding an audio component to your blog is unimpressive – unless you make it count!

  11. I was just trying to decide how to do this for someone else and then this post. Brilliant. Thank you!

  12. This is actually a great course. I’m a member of both Blog Mastermind and Become A Blogger and they are both GREAT programs. Yaro and Gideon really know their stuff. The way they organize the lessons makes it easy for even a beginner to get going.

I started my blog in September and because of what I’ve learned in Blog mastermind, it has become very successful in my niche. I started monetizing on October 31 and it exceeded what I thought would happen so that’s great.

I just started Become A Blogger and already I’m full of ideas of what I can do to make my blog 10 times better. It’s a great program to get good ideas for being a successful blogger. You can’t beat it at that price!

  13. I think It will be the interesting strategy for me as a web owner since I know that making video is one of many strategies that absorbs more visitors. Usually I have tried to make it some months ago, but it was never finished and the main factor is because of false steps. This is helpful for me to try making video.

  14. Interesting, but I’m wondering if there is a way to edit these radio shows. Maybe podcasting would be a better option.

  15. Wow, talk about Title Fail

  16. Why would anyone want to learn about filling in a website registration form!

All this tells me is that these vids are promoting other websites and filling time with useless info on how to sign-up to them!

There’s a lot of work that’s gone into producing that vid, I can see that, but the content is completely off topic to the spin.

  17. I listen to a few of BTR’s shows every couple of weeks. Never given it much thought about setting a feed up for my blogs, but would probably be a good idea. Except I’d forgo the phone and use Skype instead.

  18. yaro starak sharing tips for success……thanks for nice video… 600 member is great number

  19. Good ad for BlogTalkRadio, but I don’t like having to tie up my cell phone minutes (or land line long dx). I prefer Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). It’s free and runs locally on my PC. I can record my voice then effortlessly splice in any other audio such as musical intro or sound bites from movies and TV.

I use video for my tutorials to engage all the possible learning avenues; visual, auditory, and tactile ( I stop frequently and have my viewers try it).
