If you’re into comparing stats with your competitors (or friends) then you might like to check out Feed Compare – a tool that lets you compare the numbers of subscribers to a blog with other blogs (as lon as they are all using Feedburner).
Here’s a comparison of my two blogs over 24 months:
You can also do comparisons based upon different periods of time (1, 3, 6, 12 and 24 months). One cool feature is that you don’t need to know the Feed URL of the blog to use it. You can just put the name in and in most cases it gets it right. I say ‘most’ cases because as I write this if you put ‘ProBlogger’ in you get a blog with 85 subscribers.
You can see that it picks up all fluctuations in subscriber numbers – the real ones as well as glitches (that massive spike was a day that most people had their numbers double). I don’t tend to get into these types of comparisons (I tend to focus on my own numbers more than others) but it’s probably something that we’ll see people enjoy using.

Thank you for the lovely review. For someone who did not enable their FeedBurner Chicklet Counter, you have to enable the Awareness API instead. You can view how to enable Awareness API on http://www.blogperfume.com/feed-analysis/index.php?months=6&uri=google
It will solve the problem of seeing “Error in Data File”.

If you’re getting the “Error in data file” message you need to activate the “Awareness API” in your feed under the Publicize tab.

This is an interesting tool that unfortunately returns “Error in data file” too many times.
Ok, figured it out. The “Error in data file” only shows up for those feeds that are set to private, that have disabled the “Feed Count”. I was almost worried about privacy issues with this tool. :)

I try with my “competitors” and friends and it works perfect even if you are spanish :-) (the numbers are much lower).
I see this tool very interesting but just for fun, I agree with Darren “center on your own results”.

I got the error message yesterday so I let it go and tried again today and it worked fine. perhaps they were having server problems because of the influx of visitors that Darren sent their way!
