  1. NIce article. Thanks! Next time, please tuck your images in with their respective content sections, UNDER the section header. That was pretty confusing to see images placed with content, when they belonged with the content in the following section.

Otherwise, very helpful information – THANKS!!! :) have a lovely evening.

Brilliant list! Productivity, here we come! :D

  3. Very Nice article ! Getting here some best 10 superfine ideas.
    Thanks for Sharing.

  4. Any feedback available about InMotion?

  5. We use brightpod.com and absolutely love it!

  6. Smartsheet is an excellent product. It’s the most robust product management app I’ve used. It’s a little pricey, but mainly because you really get a lot even at the lowest level. Wunderlist is becoming my new favorite free task management app.

  7. I use kanbanflow.com. It is based on Toyota’s “Just in Time” philosophy. I have been using it for almost a year now. Simple and recommended.

  8. In the past I have used things like Google Drive and Zoho to track my documents. However, I do like the look of some of these. Are there any that you would particularly recommend for tracking guest posting campaigns from prospecting right through to publication?

  9. We’ve used quite a few of these tools mentioned above — key for PM tools at our company are automation features (scheduling, calendars, email, etc)

We like Asana and Goboxi (not listed) most for automating the project management process.

  10. I completely went off the deep end and went with a system that had crm, project manager, membership, shopping cart with auto resps, website with blog all rolled into one fully integrated monster…I think that you will see more systems like it popping up in the future instead of all these stand alone pieces and parts madness. I will never go back.

  11. Awesome! Fantastic Idea. I loved this article. Thanks for sharing this 10 tools idea.

Smart sheets-great, Citrix Sharefile & gotomeeting, Terylon Timeguard. Also work with clients who host Basecamp, FileZilla &sharepoint. Did not like the latter. There was one other that was so bad I have totally forgotten its name.

  13. Thanks for the article. I have used Trello and Asana, and they are awesome.

  14. We used Asana for some time, but as a bootsrapped startup we were not ready to pay for the features not included in the free version. Now we use Redmine, which is free and does everything we need – Gantt chart and calendar, reminders, time tracking, email notifications, issue creation via email, etc. The list goes on and on.

  15. Great list! I know Pancake App has now incorporated a project management tool in the app. I’m excited to try that one out.

  16. Great list, not heard of a few of these so will check them out. I swear by Asana, use it for my own business tasks as well as with my virtual assistance clients, it works really well. Podio is also great, have tried that in the past.

  17. I would like to suggest also Twproject, we started searching for a pm tool some months ago and we ended up on this. It ‘s really full featured but with an easy to use interface. Hope this may help someone!

  18. Excellent list, not heard about some of these so may check all of them out. We swear through Asana, use this for my very own business tasks in addition to with my personal virtual help clients, it works very well. Podio can also be great, have attempted that previously.nice post.

  19. Anybody know of a good program that notifies the next person in a project when a particular task is done?

Seems simple but I know of no program that automates this.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

  20. Hey great tips I love organizing thanks for sharing :) Anji

  21. Great list, but it seems I will have to continue my search for a tool that stops me procrastinating. The lure of BBC articles, my favourite blogs, and even the housework, if I’m on a particularly mind-numbing project, can just get too much sometimes – not even the might of Basecamp can pull me out of that.

Project management is undoubtedly a great aspect for any business organization and successful execution of a project is the need of the hour. With cut throat competition, I find the best way to beat the same is creating a good project time management strategy and following it to get the desired results. Alternatively, one can also use some good project management tools that could provide the added benefit.

I had used apps like Basecamp and Google calendar for better project management and for other project time management related needs, I always relied on Replicon time management software which is a cloud based app with lot of great features and usability too.

Where’s Bitrix24? It’s arguably the most powerful free project management platform out there. At least I know of no others who give you free unlimited tasks, projects, time tracking, Kanban, Gantt, quotes, invoicing and client management in a single package.
