Have You Set up Timeline on Your Facebook ‘Page’ Yet?

In the last day Facebook have rolled out Timeline for Facebook Brand pages. There’s been a lot of talk about whether people like them or not, but the reality is that they are here, and in a month they’ll be rolled out on your Brand page whether you like it or not.

I’ve just pushed out version 1 of my own ProBlogger Facebook page here (I’m sure I’ll be tweaking it in the coming days but it is live), and I’d love to see what others are doing.

Have you activated Timeline on your Brand Page yet? If so, share a link with us in comments below so we can get a little inspiration for what you’ve done.

  1. I set up a first draft of mine here: http://facebook.com/techbizgurl

My blog is still in its infancy so I”m thinking of other ideas that might be fun for the cover graphic.

I just set mine up (http://facebook.com/thenorthforty/) but I am definitely in need of some inspiration!

I just hit “publish” on my page which only went live a month ago. https://www.facebook.com/ShirleyHersheyShowalter

Basically all I did was pick a cover photo.

I would love some tips on how to take advantage:

    1. Of the timeline feature. (I have a clock on my website ticking down the time until my book manuscript must be completed for the contract I have).
    2. Of any other feature what can attract new likes and/or more engagement.
    3. Of ideas to link the new format to a campaign to increase the above. Either offline or online.

Hope this helps you write your blog post! I look forward to reading it.

  4. Just got mine up – the only thing that really changed is now I can have an adorable picture for my cover photo! http://www.facebook.com/traveljunkette

I switched to timeline a couple of weeks ago. I had already switched to timeline on my personal page and learned how it works. I find it’s not that different and a better tool for marketing if you have a page.
    Love to hear any feedback.

I have my personal and 2 pages. Not sure why so many people do not like the new Timeline layout. I had fun setting them up myself. Here is one of them.
