AdSense Release Toolbar for Chrome Users: Ideal for Stats Junkies

If you’re an AdSense publisher you’re probably used to the AdSense stats shuffle. You know it – constant logging into your AdSense reports to check how earnings are going.

Today AdSense released a little toolbar for Chrome users that makes checking your latest figures a breeze. Install it and with a click you get a snapshot view of your latest stats including todays figures, yesterdays, this month, last month, some channel data and lifetime revenue.

It’s not giving a heap of drilled down info but for a snapshot glance its not bad.

Here’s how it looks:

I actually don’t check into my AdSense stats as much as I used to – but this little tool will make doing so all the easier.

  1. Cool! I would like to see something like this but for AdMob. Maybe some day :)

  2. I check mine every morning by going directly through the official AdSense page. This will definitely make things lots easier but unless if your traffic/AdSense income fluctuates a lot every day, I don’t really see a point of having it available like that :)

  3. I don’t see where to install this when logged into Adsense using Chrome. A link to the download/installer would be very helpful.

  4. Michael says:

That’s pretty amazing! Though it’s not a lot, it is better than nothing! Especially from only getting paid a few cents a click!

  5. Justin Mazza says:

    Rock on Google!

Hey Darren, Your adsense revenue is making me jealous. :)

  6. Aunna says:

That is exactly how I am, checking stats constantly, and I have only been blogging for three months. So there are not much stats to look at but any little change and I am excited.

  7. Benni says:

    Hi,
it’s a very nice plugin, installed it directly. :)

But I miss a hyperlink to jump directly into the “real” adsense reports to take a closer look at the stats.

  8. Sahil says:

This will make more easier to check adsense earnings if anyone has multiple gmail accounts.

  9. Thats cool. I expect the next one would be for Google Analytic.

  10. Ankit Bansal says:

I don’t see a need for this cos adsense is not just about how much you earn ,, its lot more than that. Page impressions, performance in different countries etc etc. U even while using the toolbar i still have to open my account everyday.

  11. Very nice. The thing I like most about it is the figures. Oh, if I could only make half of that each day!

  12. Taline says:

Pretty cool! I will definitely be installing it :)

  13. suraj says:

Great to Hear! I usaully open adsense account 2-3 times a day to check status earning. This tool going to help me to get update of account.

  14. I think that’s just an example, not real numbers. Thanks for the tip Darren. It will definitively make things faster.

  15. J.D. says:

Nice, now I will be able to check the stats without logging in. I remember a few years ago there was a similar toolbar for Firefox.

  16. Peter Hughes says:

Short and sweet, I’ll keep track of my 0.15UK per month much more easily now!

  17. Sweet! Next step: Actually earning money! lol.

  21. Sean Supplee says:

    Looks cool. Any special features?

  26. albania says:

thanks for explaining, it looks clean and simple.

  28. Heiko says:

That’s really useful and looks even better than the standard Adsense ui. I am not sure if I would use a add-on in Firefox for that – but in Chrome… works great.
