ProBlogger’s Guide to Blogging for Your Business

Blog4Biz_3d book-400.jpgToday I’m really excited to announce a brand new ProBlogger eBook ProBlogger’s Guide to Blogging for Your Business.

The idea for this resource came from regular emails that I receive from business owners and employees within businesses who want to start blogs to assist them in achieving their business goals.

Their problem, though, is that they don’t know where to begin.

Business owners don’t have the time to take the trial-and-error approach, and often need help from someone who’s done it all before and can show them how to build a successful blog for your business, right from the start.

As a result, I got in touch with Mark Hayward—a blogger who I’ve known for a few years now. Mark not only coaches businesses in blogging strategy: he’s a bricks-and-mortar business owner who’s used blogging and social media to build his business.

Mark has put together an A-Z of blogging for your business. His ebook is going to help a lot of people move from being convinced that a blog is a good idea, to actually have one up and running with a great strategy moving forward.

Step-by-Step advice to save hours of time and endless frustration

By the time you’re finished this ebook, it will have helped you:

  • Set up a WordPress blog… without any technical know-how.
  • Conduct targeted keyword research… even if you’ve never done it before.
  • Understand your online competition… whether they’re next door, or on the next continent.
  • Build a strong social media footprint… even if you don’t know the first thing about finding “followers.”
  • Set a successful business blogging strategy… no matter what your product or market.

This ebook is over 140 pages in length and full of practical advice with exercises to complete at the end of each of its 12 chapters. So you’ll not only learn the theory—you’ll immediately have opportunity to put it into action and move towards building a fully functioning blog for your business.

For more information on what’s covered in this great new ebook, check out the ProBlogger’s Guide to Blogging for Your Business information page. Or order your own copy for just $49.99 USD by clicking the “Download it Now” button.

  1. Looks like a brilliant book, now just have to get the money out of my bank account so i can grab myself a copy :)

  2. This is an excellent idea Darren. My friend recently started a company here in my college where me and my other friends are part of. Even though we have got clients to keep us busy, I think one of the things we lack is a business blog. We do have a website, but not a blog. Having a blog for a business has several advantages.

Thanks for releasing this product. I am sure this will help a lot of business owners who are not that into blogging.

  3. Hi Darren,
Having gone through the trial and error phase with my own blog I can see the value in having your new eBook as a resource. There is just too much to learn on our own so any thing that can speed up the process would be good in my book.

  4. Darren, congratulations on your new eBook. I am looking forward to reading it. I am pretty sure it will give me some fresh ideas about my latest projects which involve marketing for small businesses.

    Thanks,
    Nail

  5. Look forward to getting my hands on a copy as usual, well done Darren I’m sure it will come to great use just like all your other eBooks.

  6. this ebook lo so interesting…and i thinks everyone who want run online business or already run but didnt get the success should buy and read this book..i will grab it :)

  7. This is a very good design. Keep it up Darren!

  8. Definitely this book would be very useful in achieving long term plans of blogging.

  9. I can’t agree with you more Darren. Blogging for business success has a lot more potential than a simple website. Just by having these comment widgets, your business ranking will increase in the search engines with all the back-links you can get. Not to mention that the starting point for marketing any website should be a Blog. Let me know if your interested in placing this product in my digital store!

    Maurice

  10. Blogging is still underutilized in many businesses, such as dentistry. This ebook can be a life-saver for the professional who is serious about building relationships with existing patients, and adding new patients.

  11. Wow this is helpful in so many ways! I have an internship this summer writing for a blog so I’m of course going through the website archives in my free time, but I really wish I could download this. And in addition to learning from this website, it can help me with content! This is DEFINITELY something our audience needs to know about. I can’t wait to write about it and recommend it…spreading the ProBlogger love :)

    • PS–my article about this eBook is up! I’m more excited about this article than any I’ve written previously since falling upon Problogger is what got me interested in blogging :) If anyone has a moment, I’d love if it got looked at by some real blogging professionals!

  12. I like your eBook. It look very interesting. I feel that this book could help me
with some of my marketing projects. I am thinking about getting myself a copy.

  13. Hi Darren,
Anything that can help us all stand on the shoulders of one of the giants of blogging (you!) can make a big difference to our success online and offline.

    David

  31. so much to learn, some times it is a little overwhelming

  32. I am working as SEO with our business organization for blogging promotion .And i am forwarding my request to grasp this copy to our purchase department.

Hopefully the request will be approved soon and i will get the copy. Thanks for everyone

  33. I’m blogging for quite a long time, but with no real success so far, gonna give this a try.

  34. This book is very good and this book should become a handbook for every blogger, but if the book explains also to market strategy in countries with low CPC?

  35. Darren –
I’ve read your post dated sep 2004 on Seven Reasons Why Businesses Should Blog Now, I find 7th reason is very relevant to businesses till today- “They help position you as a knowledgeable expert in your industry”

Business or on-line marketer should learn how to differential and be subject matter expert in their on field.

Hope i will build my blogging muscle to be point of reference in Asia Pacific.

  36. Looks like a book I’ve got to get. I see so many businesses use social media incorrectly. I’ve advised a few businesses and I know there’s so much more I can do to help them, like recommend this ebook.

  37. I have a blog page but not a blog all by itself for my business. I will grab the book and look into this some more. Thanks for the idea.

  38. I am just beginning to get into blogging, and found the book to be very valuable, especially in terms of how to set up and use WordPress.org (cost is free, but you have to do your own hosting and e-mail hosting). Omitted by design, so as to keep the book size manageable, is how to monetize your blog once it’s set up and has run for a while. This obviously leaves an opening for a future e-book. Alternatively, it leaves an opening for a blogging coach or consultant once you have the blog up and running for a while, but defines clearly what his or her role and goal should be. In short, an excellent and thoroughly practical e-book for what it sets out to do, namely to get you from nothing to a smoothly functioning blog in which you produce good content. After doing that for a while, you can re-focus on monetization.

  40. Another great product Darren! Just what we need. I’m sure it’ll be a smash in the blogosphere in no time!

    Best of luck!

  41. Liked the idea of having exercises at the end of each of the chapters. Makes it a lot more effective.
Congratulations for coming out with this book!

  42. Good luck with the book

  43. Goodluck with your book project!

I think i like the features of this book, Will recommend it to my newbie blogging friends.

  44. Great looking book Darren. Guides like this that target businesses are surely the best to go as a lot of start up companies would really want to use the web to promote their business without having to bother about the technicalities concerning blogging itself.

  45. to be honest i wouldnt normally buy an ebook from any other get rich guru,by i think probloggers reputation precededs itself,so i might just go ahead with this one

  46. Hi Darren,

Several years ago I grabbed a copy of your ProBlogger Book. It was great and I still read it once in a while. I’ll try to buy a copy of this new book soon, because if it’s as good as your other book, it sure must be a winer.

Good luck with the sales of this new book.

  47. I am truly surprised about Darren. I had the understanding that he values every customer and that is reason that he is so successful.

I have a different opinion now. I wrote to him a brief note about how I missed in two days a discount he offered on purchasing the “Blogging for Business” E-book. He not only disregarded my request, but he did not even bothered to respond to the message.

My question is this: where is the business sense?

I spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on products developed by Chris Garrett (personal consultation, blog evaluation, authority blogger, numerous E-books, etc.) and Darren, as well, because I have high respect for both. Now, I will only continue to purchase products from Chris, because he has never missed a message, responds even to minor issues and dealing with Chris, one feels as if he/she the most important person to him.

I doubt that for a $20.00 discount it was worth for Darren treat me as “non-important bother”

  48. Congrats!

It sounds like the perfect recipe …ripe niche + getting started guide + focused solution.

  49. How many “probloggers” do really make a living of it. What do you guys earn?

  50. I can’t wait to pick up a copy! I just have to make enough money to afford it.
