The Online Profits Teaching Resource Opens its Doors to 300 More Students

Posted By Darren Rowse 18th of January 2010 Pro Blogging News 0 Comments

It is that time of year when an amazing array of products and teaching resources are being released for those wanting to explore how to make a living online. I know as someone who covers the topic here on ProBlogger I’ve been pitched to write about many of them (at last count I’ve been pitched to write about and recommend over 20 this week alone).

I’m pretty selective in the products that I recommend – one of those that I do suggest you check out has just reopened its doors to a new calls of 300 members – it’s called Online Profits.

Online Profits is the work of Daniel Scocco from a number of sites including ‘Daily Blog Tips’ and he’s one person in this game that I’ve come to respect a lot.

Online Profits is a comprehensive teaching course that covers 24 learning modules. After completing the course:

  • You’ll know Internet marketing inside out.
  • You’ll create your own online business.
  • You’ll take your existing websites to the next level.
  • You’ll discover the tools you need to succeed.
  • You’ll get access to a vibrant community of entrepreneurs.

The 24 modules cover a lot of ground and go way beyond just talking about blogging. Daniel and his team go through the basics like choosing domains and niches but get into a lot more detail including topics like SEO, affiliate marketing, developing and selling products and much more.

The best part about what Daniel has done though is in the group of mentors and teachers that he has assembled. He’s used people like Neil Patel, Chris Garrett, Yaro Starak, Zac Johnson and a lot more successful internet marketers to share what they know.

If you want to get a taste of Daniel’s style – I recommend you do so by checking out his free report – 10 Deadly Business Mistakes You Should Avoid.

It’s a valuable report that will not only give you an insight into how Daniel goes about his business but it’ll give you a sample of his style.

Online Profits opened its doors minutes before I hit publish on this post and will be closed again once 300 new class members signup. It’s a worthwhile investment in your learning about internet marketing.

I did this course last year and it led me in an unexpected but wonderful direction. I joined up expecting to use it to help me launch a blogging career but have ended up going in some completely different directions.

Through the teaching and some of the contacts I made with others doing the course and two of the teachers I ended up starting down the email marketing route with surprisingly fantastic results.

Great course – well worth doing. Btw – thanks Darren for recommending this, it was you who put me onto this last year.

  4. Wow this looks an exciting course, there are a lot of big names in there.
This looks like the kind of course that would appeal to me and usually I would never look at this type of thing.

    Thanks for sharing

  5. @Darren, thanks for the mention. It is always flattening when it comes from someone like you.

  6. That is sound good course, I waiting for this course.

  8. Its nice to see that you open the gates once again. Many people waited this for very long.

    Best of luck Daniel

  9. Good post, I liked the “10 Business Mistakes” page you linked to. Though most of the subjects covered I’ve read before, it has some I haven’t. It was a good read!

The course also sounds awesome, though I probably wouldn’t plan to do it, thanks for sharing!

The more I read through all of the resources you link to on here (and your own posts), the better my feel for running my blog correctly. I also see a lot of common trends among successful blogs that I plan to implement.

    Thanks for another great post!

  10. good recommendation :-)

  11. That’s a who’s who in Internet Marketing. Would love to get my hands on this.

  12. Just one ad disguised as a post after another…

    Darren Rowse says “Buy this!”
    Darren Rowse says “Attend this!”
Darren Rowse says “Discount on this!”

It’s at least 65% commercialized content around here now. Glad it works for you.

  13. I just dropped Problogger.net from my RSS line-up after following for two years. It’s more like AmateurBlogger.net or JustStartingOutBlogger.net or AffiliateBlogger.net. There really used to be better advice for professional (i.e., established) bloggers around here.

    • Sorry you feel that way Jeffry.

One thought though – do you think perhaps that your knowledge of blogging has grown in the last 2 years? I only ask it because I’ve always tried to keep my content pretty much aimed at beginner to intermediate bloggers and find that most people who stick at blogging for any longer than a couple of years tend to know most of what they need to know to run a blog.

As a result my readership does tend to change the way it reads ProBlogger. Many readers start off as fanatical readers, sucking up as much of the learning as they can because they’re at the beginning of their journey. Then they start to get on their own feet and while they still subscribe they tend to dip in and out of the content more dependent upon their blog’s life stage and what their challenges are.

While I’d love everyone to stay in the fanatical stage forever I’m also pretty happy that readers do ‘grow up’ and get on their own feet, discover what works for themselves etc – that’s what this blog is aiming to help bloggers do afterall.

Perhaps ProBlogger has changed… I’ll give that some thought…. but perhaps in the last 2 years you’ve changed too Jeffry (in a good way)? Perhaps you’re unsubscribing today partly because of what you’ve learned here in the past? Just a thought.

I do wish you all the best as you move forward – blog on!

  14. @Jeffry Pilcher you seems jealous of Darren’s success.

  15. I did the same course last year. So I can give my honest review on it.

Over all, it is very good course. It covers a lot of topics (A-Z of Internet Marketing). This course is ideal if you want to get your hands wet on all aspects of Internet Marketing and Blogging.

Now a days, as an Online Entrepreneur you have to know more than one thing to succeed.

More than the course materials, I found the forums to be really useful. Daniel really gives personal attention to each and every student.

On the flip side, the beginning lessons in this course are very basic. They were kept simple, purely for newbie’s to get comfortable with the course.

As the course progresses the content gets more and more advanced.

So if you already have a good knowledge of Blogging and Internet Marketing you’ll have to wait a few weeks to see more advanced content.

    Hope this helps

  16. Thanks again for a great recommendation. there has been so much information lately I do not even know where to start. My goal is to read through most of it by friday. I will check this course out.

  17. With such a quality free report, the paid membership content must be fantastic.

  18. Jeffry – not sure what to say. I promote less than 10% of the stuff I’m asked to promote. This time of year is the time that everything launches so it’s a tough choice to know how to give the quality resources that I find some promotion without taking over the blog. I appreciate the feedback but at the same time I’ve got to find a way to:

    1. promote some quality resources
    2. give readers free tips and tutorials
    3. make a living

I’m hoping that what i’m doing currently balances these things. I’ve written over 5000 posts on ProBlogger – I’d estimate that less than 5% promote something over that time. There are periods where that % increases but then there are other times of year where there are weeks and months without promotions.

  19. I went through the course last year and I highly recommend it. For one thing it immediately shatters any misconceptions that you might have about how to make money online, the most common one being that “blogging” is the only way.

As someone else already said the course assumes no prior knowledge and starts right from the basics, so some of you might not find anything new in the opening lessons.

But between the lessons and the discussion forums it is an incredibliy advanced, in-depth training program. You will finish with a dozen or more well researched, well planned online business ideas that have a high chance of success thanks to what you learn inside.

The price is surely going to go up next year so if you’re hesitating now I would make a decision quickly or you might miss out on a great bargain at the current pricing.

  20. Darren,

Your response to Jeffrey, above, says a lot about you and how you run your business. There are a lot of ‘promote ’em’ sites around and it’s really impossible to know who is sincere in what they do. You answered that question for me, and I’ll sign up for the program. I did look at the free ebook and it seems sensible and informative. The course modules look fabulous and just what I need.

Thanks for your advice, and for demonstrating how an ethical businessperson should answer a snarky customer.

    Best wishes.

  21. I Always wanted to attend a program like this and sure will attend it as means of becoming a pro blogger in a real sense thanks for such a useful information keep it coming like this!
