Find Bloggers to Hire and Find Blog Jobs at the ProBlogger Job Boards

Posted By Darren Rowse 11th of January 2010 Miscellaneous Blog Tips 29

It is the start of the year and many bloggers and blog owners are planning for 2010 and beyond.

As a result the ProBlogger Job Boards have been a busier place than usual of late.

If you’re looking to hire a blogger – the job boards are subscribed to by thousands of bloggers seeking work – each new job is also tweeted to the ProBlogger Twitter account (with 85,000+ followers) and seen by thousands more (and they’re often retweeted). The feedback I get from many advertisers is that the quality of applicants is high. At just $50 for a 30 day advertisement the investment is very low and the potential reward is high! If you need some help in putting together an effective ad check out this advice and then Post your Job here.

If you’re looking to land a blogging job – in the last week we’ve had 10 new jobs and I expect the next couple of weeks to see more added as many companies and individual bloggers are looking to hire at this time of year. Subscribe to the RSS feed and keep an eye on my Twitter account and when you see a job – act fast (although not at the expense of the quality of your application). Keep in mind that there’s a lot you can do to increase your chances of getting a blogging job.

  2. Maybe you can prepare a list of good writers as an added service to the blog owners.

  3. Darren,

This is a nice feature for your site. I’ve recently spent more than a few days to search for good writers. Finally I have hired two that claims to be good. If I need more, I will keep your job board in mind.

    Take care.

  12. Cool. I think it creates real value because the problem people have when finding someone to hire is that there are too many people! By advertising through a targeted medium like yours, they eliminate 99% of the people they don’t want.

Maybe as we expand we will place some ads with you!

  13. Thanks for the update on the opportunities.

  14. Thanks Darren. I’m always looking for some writing gigs that size up to my passions. Your job board is awesome!

  21. This is really very helpful for new bloggers who aren’t making any money from blogging.

  22. What I meant is I can’t figure out how to find the people who are looking for jobs, on the Pro Blogger Job Board.

Do I have to pay to see the candidate’s resumes?

  23. Thanks for the information man…….great job. Looks like we got another place can find blog jobs. WOW!!

  24. Good looking resource, and it’s nice that there are plenty of listings. I’ll have to keep tabs on this.

  25. Geez, is my question so complicated that no one can answer it?

  26. Hey I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading your blog but it’s taking a while to load up for me. I don’t have a slow internet connection either, so I think it may be your site? Anyways keep up the nice work

  27. Upon hiring a virtual assistant, you would have an extra hand that you never have to be acquainted with, simply voice with them on the phone or through the internet and that is the way your work gets done. Just through the phone and/or internet. Virtual assistants are trained to do multi tasks, such as any menial secretarial work as well as some accounting, website design, and creative advertising techniques

  28. This is a good post, which features worthwhile information. If you invest your time in reading this, article it really worth it. This article starts in a perfect way. The author has full grip on the topic through out the article. I like the way in which writer has ended his article. It is not a regular useless post in which even writer is not sure that what exactly he wants to say.

  29. I couldn’t agree more, thanks for writing.
