It’s possible that your site was unavailable due to a scheduled reboot or something similar.

It may be coincidence that Googlebot was crawling your site at that time.

You could check your uptime using the shell prompt just by typing that; uptime.

I’m quite new to blogging and found problogger only a week ago but this is definitely one of the best sites about this topic I have found so far! Thanks for all the information, tips and motivation you give us with your articles!

What I really admire about a lot of the posts here is that you don’t just throw some uncooked phrases out there but still have the energy and fun (obviously) to go deep and explain all the necessary details.

This is a great overview of how you can build a real network out of the fundament (blog). Seems to me a lot of those probloggers I have subscribed to are focussing more and more on membership sites and such instead of just having a blog..

it’s seems that useful content is the foundation…just a question, if you have an idea on content, how do you find if it’s valuable, other than tracking traffic, how to get feedback if you need to provide other information on your website?
