Blogging Tips in 140 Characters or Less
A couple of days back I tweeted this question:
“Question: what’s your #1 blog tip in 140 characters or less? GO!’”
Over the next hour or two a lot of great responses came in – so I thought I’d post a link to them today because I think in the midst of them is a lot of wisdom. Below is a screen shot of the first 11 responses – but for the full thread of all replies to that original tweet check out the thread on twitoaster.
What would you add? What’s your #1 blog tip (keep it short).

Short paragraphs, bold font to separate ideas, starting the post off with a question, and definitely “knowing” what you’re talking about. #1 rule of thumb – know what you know and share it with the world…

I especially appreciate the responses of writing what you’re passionate about and quality being more important than quantity. Also, to write about something you would want to read.
Interesting insights.

Funny, I hadn’t thought of it as blogging. I just joined twitter last week (@homegrown_mom) and I was kind of trying to figure out just what to do. I’ve been posting cool liknks and little status updates. I like this better! Thanks!

Hey, you have a nice list here. I’m not sure but I think everything have been mentioned. I really like “write something you’d like to read” because that’s exactly how I think. But I would prefer “Write Something People Want To Read” because you write for your audience, not for yourself, right? Anyway, thank you for sharing this Darren.
