Two Free Videos (and a Special Offer) for Bloggers and Twitter Users
Today two videos were released that involved me and that I think would be of interest to readers.
1. Video interview with Gideon Shalwick – in this video Gideon interviewed me on a range of aspects of blogging.
In the video I talk a little about how I got started but the rest of the interview is packed with a range of tips on how to improve a blog.
The interview goes for just over 33 minutes and includes a special bonus offer that Gideon is giving for anyone who buys my 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Workbook through his affiliate link.
2. Twitter Tips for Businesses (and Individuals) – this video is me talking to a set of slides/presentation that I’ve been giving lately at conferences and internally for a number of businesses.
The video goes for around 40 minutes and while it was developed for businesses wanting to get started with Twitter it covers a lot of tips that I think would be relevant to bloggers and individuals with other agendas. The first section covers how I find Twitter benefits my blogging but moves on to a lot of more practical tips on how to use Twitter Effectively.
In total these videos give you over an hour of content – I hope you enjoy them!

Thanks Darren! I will definitely check out both of these videos, especially the Twitter one. I plan on doing more with Twitter, once I am able to convert my web site into a blog; which I hope I am able to accomplish within the next couple of months.

I love Gideon’s attention to detail in his videos. He has some subtle music playing under his intro + a few camera angles + plus he shows you clearly on the screen.
I’d love to see him or you do a post here about video blogging for non-experts.

Great Twitter advice. Twitter is a goldmine of traffic but it has to be harnessed the correct way.
I loved Twitter about 2 years ago but am falling out of love with it because overwhelming number of spamers. Now I use automatic tweets most of the time.
I’m surprised to see that Delicious was one of your top 5 sources. It’s not even in my top 10. Stumbleupon is my #3 behind Google and direct.
Why do you think some social bookmarking sites drive traffic to some site but not others?

I wonder why Adsense doesn’t work for you here at Problogger.
Maybe people already find what they’re looking for here and don’t even look at Adsense ads :P

Excellent video, great tips and a valuable investment of my time. I found your tip about using the Twitter link as a Twitter explanation page really interesting. I’d like to create a custom background, but don’t have Photoshop or know much about laying out an image like that.
