I started off many years ago with Blogger, but migrated over to Drupal. For me the best choice, because you can do much more than blogging.

I’ve always stuck with blogger because of its easy use. Great widgets and appearance. It seems like more people are turning to blogger also. Wouldn’t mind giving Wordpress a try though.

I have used Typepad since it was invented and can’t, for the life of me, think why anybody would use anything else. Widgets? Got ‘em. Self-hosted? Got it. There is never any need to learn code or follow really complex instructions meant for web designers, not persons who just want to communicate via a blog. Wordpress seems clunky and not user friendly in the least to me.

I love the self-hosted Wordpress. Once you get the hang of it there is no going back to blogger or wordpress.com. I’ve tried all three. Wordpress.org gives the best and most professional looking results.

I just switched off Blogger to Wordpress as I’m in the process of developing my brand for StGermaine.ca. I like the options on Wordpress better for implementing a custom design.

That said, I really liked the functionality on Blogger. Sooner or later Google will own the world, so I’m sure they’ll keep making their blog platform better.

Overall I’m for Wordpress, but I do agree that for a non-techie, Blogger is easier to operate.

I figured Wordpress would be on the top with blogger to follow.

Our blogs are b2evolution. I’ve tried others but, would not give up our B2’s for any of them. It does look like I am the only commenter using this platform. Oh well, I can deal with being in the minority. ;)

My blog is one of those “Others”…it is run on a hybrid Wordpress platform called Blogi360.

There is no other blog platform I’ll use anymore.

Interesting to see Blogger’s reach growing. Seems to be becoming more popular with individuals as well as companies (i.e. Twitter). Have to admit it’s very easy to use.

I started off by using blogger but soon realized the limitations so I exported all my posts into wordpress. Been using wordpress ever since and now my blog looks cleaner.

I was a bit shocked that more people used Wordpress in 2006 then 2007.
