After some of the things I have seen I would never advertise with Google. There are folks literally just asking people to click on there ads to donate the money for charity. And I’ve also clicked on more than a few ads and the page shows up blank. I wonder how much money Google gives and advertisers pay as a result of fraud.

Gee whiz it took google a long time to figure out that many of the adsense ads end up on sites that are totally illrelevant and many ads which could be on relevant sites don’t show up. For example, a car blog or website..typical reader profile..male possibly more mature… yes car ads go well..but the reader also has other needs such as thinning hair, investment, health insurance, etc. If google adsense spider picks up a word like “makeup” then might start getting ads for makeup..wasting both publishers and advertiser time and money. Knowing the reader profile is more useful than site content, and this will result in higher click thru rate..hopefully.
