I think the number of bloggers than run ads to be irrelevant – the true factor is showing that of the percentage that do, how many are doing it effectively, how many are seeing a return, and how many saw a drop (or increase) in subscribers…

Actually I am not sure whether or not I have an RSS feed for my visitors to click on. Should I put on my blogs? How? I have a lot to learn. I am alien to terms like CSS, RSS, Putting backlinks. I wish someone would try and look at my blog and personally give me tips. Many thanks.

Even if you don’t have many RSS subscribers, if you implement the advertising in a tasteful way, you should be able to do it without annoying them ..

I think the RSS Ads seems the large user in publishing Ads.I am not able to find out how to get ads on my rss feed.I’ve tried to set it up through Feedburner and Adsense, and I can’t figure it out.

I have no problem with putting adsense in my feeds since they are so non obtrusive. I have been hesitant with some of the other advertisers though. I can see where that would be a problem.

I have noticed that many people are complaining about the fact that they are losing RSS subscribers. The fact is that it could be the fact that you are using advertisements in your RSS feed. Try not using advertisements for a while and see if you stop losing subscribers.

ROW you are right and it is definitely one of the reasons why people are now using feedburner. I dont want to join since there are a less number of feeds subscribers i have. I don’t want to attract my visitors to subscribe through contest because they might flee if i don’t perform contests anymore.
