Killer Titles Project is Over – And the Winner Is…
What a week it has been here at ProBlogger with the Killer Titles Group Writing Project!
I’ve just updated our submissions page with the final batch of 77 submissions for the project. This brings us to a total of 343 entries.
Please head over and surf through some of the posts submitted – bookmark, comment, subscribe to and link up to those that you like the most.
The Winner Is…
This project has been generously sponsored by Logo Designer David Airey who has put up a $2000 logo design for one random participant. Thanks to David – I can’t wait to see the logo that you come up with for our winner.
I’ve just drawn the winner of this prize using a random number generator.
The prize goes to Mjuboy for their title Sacrificing Goats and Eating Brains – congratulations, I’ll email you with details of how to get your prize (update: Mjuboy’s thank you post is here).
Thanks again to everyone for participating – I hope more than just Mjuboy feels a winner and benefited from this project. To be notified of future Group Writing Projects and competitions at ProBlogger make sure you’re subscribed to our feed.

I didn’t realise you had to actually *kill* something or have pics of that, to win. :)
Well done, Mjuboy and Darren and thanks to fellow participants. I found some new blogs and interesting people and some folks found me.

I checked the winning piece and I realized Darren is correct about the Killer Title because the title literally kills. lol!
Kidding aside, I think all of us who submitted an entry won in some ways. My entry got some good comments from other contestants and I also read other entries and left a comment to the ones that I was interesting for me.
I guess we also have to congratulate Darren for having this project a great success. A success because I know that one of the reasons why he created this project is to have a medium where bloggers cannot socialize with each other.

It was a fun contest, the first I’ve entered here. I found a few blogs to add to my very short list of feeds.
And even better, just from the comments on this page, I’ve added to my list one blog that I’ll never bother with because the world already has way too many jackasses – the benefits of this site just keep adding up!

Congratulations Mjuboy!
I didn’t join this contest, but wouldn’t it have been best if the winner was chosen by votes on the best “killer title” and not from a random generator?
Defeats the purpose of writing a truly “killer title” doesn’t it?
