Thanks for the list.
I found the one about Twitter to be especially useful, as I am fairly new to blogging.
I’ve only had my personal finance blog up for about 2 months now, and have been thinking about getting into the social marketing scene.

I’ve been threatened by a subsidiary of Fox Media Corporation once before, where they wanted to sue for $150,000. That post about a blogger being sued for $20 Mil brings back some lovely memories.
I really did nothing in the long run, and eventually the problem went away. There was no legal basis for the suit. They simply wanted me to comply knowing that I obviously don’t have access to such funds. It would be great seeing some more posts here about our rights as bloggers Darren :)

I especially like #8. The more I enjoy blogging the more interested I am in finding out how the top bloggers got where they are today. Thanks for the links.

Definitely some great links here. Being sued for $20 million for calling a company a scam though? What a joke. What company has NEVER been called a scam by a person?

about the #7 one - that company IS a fraud…I work in Florida and they have called me firm before
they pretend to be a tv production company offering you free airtime, but in reality they are bullshit artists and try to charge you tens of thousands of dollars for (worthless) airtime

The one about the blogger being sued also brought back (somewhat recent) memories for me, I’ve been threatened multiple times by the Digg lawyers but they’ve never threatened a lawsuit or contacted my host since they don’t have a basis for any of their slander, sometimes the big companies just sue bloggers to deny them their freedom of speech.

Thanks again for posting them

I find that article about a blogger being sued more than a little alarming. It was good to read that there are things being put in place to help bloggers. It also goes to show that companies don’t like the power of the blogging voice!!!

The productivity links are particularly appreciated at the moment.
I’m struggling a bit with my routine (or lack of it) at present. Not sure if it’s because it’s summer, though the light mornings used to get me up earlier.
Oh well, at least it’s a little quieter in the summer so it does give me a bit of flexibility, and to find a system that works, before the rigours of autumn and winter set in.

Excellent reads there. I have to agree that spam blogs republish your RSS Feeds. There was this one person on digitalpoint who is selling a “million dollar idea” well giving it away for free. It is parsing feeds from other popular blogs. I hate those sites.
