Darren, quick point of technical feedback. The link you posted is javascript, which doesn’t always work in a feed. I couldn’t see the link in my feed reader (Liferea), it automatically strips any SCRIPT tags. Not sure what the solution is, perhaps to generate a static link if possible.

Raoul, feedburner inserted adsense ads on your page and showed it in your feed too – like everything else. The news is, that the new feed ads won’t show on your page (unless there is an option to do so).

Unless I’m thoroughly confused, I’ve had this for quite a few months on my site. I’d been a part of FeedBurner’s FAN ever since that program got started. Shortly after they got bought by Google, I was able to log into my FeedBurner account and configure AdSense ads to appear in both my feed and on my site — several months ago. Not sure why this is news now, unless I was part of a select group of publishers to whom that feature was available.

Andrea — I’d assume it’s just the normal AdSense cut. Google owns FeedBurner, so there’d be no reason for them to take an extra slice of the revenue. Not to say they couldn’t…

From their materials, I’ve never been able to tell if signing up for Adsense for Feedburner (or whatever) means that Feedburner takes a cut of all your Adsense or just that served through your Feedburner feed. It’s the second, right?

Good news but not sure how much time ads are inserted into feed (how is that work)? Anybody have pic example to see how it looks, thanks!

Mostly (if not entirely) CPC, like normal AdSense ads. However, like the post said, it can work in conjunction with the CPM ads of the Feedburner Ad Network if you’re already in there.
