Well at least I am glad I live in Hawaii instead of Australia :) even though my second living wish was Sydney!

I'm a new blogger with a blog nowhere near professional or impressive, but it seems to me like your posts are getting a little, well, um . . . cheap. I've gotten much from your blog and I love your video posts, but your regular posts seem to have gone down hill. Like the Q&A post about "showing up," it was disappointing. Your posts just aren't as compelling as they used to be.

It's not surprising to me that they are having a hard time with the conversion rates. The dollar continues to slide at a staggering pace. Heck, not too long ago it took two Canadian dollars to equal up to one greenback...those days are long gone. The fact that Google owned up to the issue so quickly demonstrates integrity on their part. Could have been a while before anyone noticed.

Yeah, it does seem like they caught it quick. It doesn't sound like the horror I heard about YSM though...but that's not from experience.

Funny how when you look at Google online organizational chart the guys who run AdSense and AdWords (essentially the only thing Google does which brings in income) are way down the totem pole from the major execs. Seems to indicate to me where their focus really is.

In the past year they've written a number of NSF checks to publishers as well ... basic business 101 practices viloated on a regular basis.

And US schools haven't bothered with "old fashioned" things like fractions in years ... that's what calculators are for. Of course if you input the wrong number .....

Small mishap. What's great is that Google responded to the problem so quickly and paid the publishers the difference.
