Google Analytics Add New Comparison Graphing Tools
Those of you who use Google Analytics might be interested to see that they’ve announced a new graphing tool - ie that you can now compare not only time periods but different stats.
For example you can view your page views vs bounce rate for a given period:
Or you might want to track how the amount of time people spend on a particular page compares to the site average:
Handy stats to have.

This is good.
Hey anyone know how we can capture the graphical data in Analytics, like the graphs in this post? I can’t seem to be able to capture them using normal capture techniques…

This is great. I always wanted to easily compare traffic over the quarters. I had a complex system setup in Excel, but this will make it much easier.

@Muhammad: On a Mac, I’d capture a portion of the screen using the Grab application. This saves a PNG to the desktop, or copies it to the clipboard. It’s not dependent on being able to find the image on the webpage, which is difficult on GA as I believe the graphs are Flash based.
I’m sure there are similar tools for Windows, Linux, etc.

Google Analytics have some great tools and always looks great and clear and easy to navigate. Add all necessary tools that are needed to examine stats. Its the best free traffic tracking tool i know!

Google analytics is a great tool to keep track of website visitors. I use it on a couple of my website.

New is also that GA now considers local time zone.
Until recently the day begun at 9:00am (GMT +01:00 Austria)

Glad someone is taking time to learn Analytics better than I have. It’s a great tool, with loads of options. Go Google!
