Google is experimenting with new ad types. I look forward to move ads with video and flash. They get clicked on a higher percentage of the time.

I agree with the both last comments. Maybe I’m too conservative, but the income and the added info by text ads must be enough.

My website – regarding restauration and refurbishing of old houses by cheap means is not the playground for Google’s fuzzy logic, ok, not only ;-)

I don’t quite like them, really. I know that testing and experimenting is the engine of progressing but Google testings all the time reflects on my earning and t be honest I would like to have the power to control more about how ads look like

I’m wondering what happens if someone signs up for Adsense using the Gadget. Is it counted as an affiliate sign-up or as a click on an advertisement. Makes quite a difference!

For blogs that promote Adsense as an affiliate, it could mean that their ad units are competing with their affiliate links for the same sign-up. Not a good situation.

I put the URL of two blogs of mine, and always get told “No ads available”. To be sure I tried with http://www.problogger.net, but got the same answer…

Strange, or do I miss something ?

Hey in my ritualistic search for MORE information on Adsense I found an insane offer. There is this site called Mochila and they are offering $5 bucks for anyone who wants it. All you have to do is sign up post their quality content badge on your site for 30 days and they pay you $5.

I’m not sure what the pay off is for them but I’ve put it on my site already. The new content has improved my page ranking and increased my ctr on my other ads as well. No spam here…..just a good deal I’d like to see other fellow bloggers profit from a killer deal.

Ah! the chances of getting clicked will increase and will serve more purpose to both advertisers and the site visitor. All in all…everyone will be happy…the publisher (for getting more clicks), the advertisers (more relevant customer) and the customer (they’ll need what they want).

Interesting the comparison between Gadget CPM and CPC, even if the ad is CPC, you don’t get paid for interactions with the ad – only if they go to the Advertisers website, so that means even more free exposure for an advertiser.
