AuctionAds give $25 to New Publishers
AuctionAds have announced a bonus of $25 for new publishers signing up to use their system.
Sign up and your balance will automatically receive the $25 without you having to do anything. They do have a minimum payout of $50 so you’ll need to implement their ads to reach that mark before you get your money but it’s nice little incentive to get you using their system.
If you’ve already signed up with AuctionAds you will still get your $25 bonus if you’ve not had a payout previously.

I know! Is it time to sign up? I feel blogs with little traffic can really benefit in the long run.

Doh! I should have waited to sign up. Wonder if they’ll let me “re-up” in order to score the money.

Is it wise to replace Adsense with Auction Ad?

My problem is I’m from Romania, and PayPal doesn’t work here. Is it another way, because there’s nothing on their page to say they’re paying by check or CC?

You have to admire the offer. By the time you receive your payout they get back all of the awarded $25.
Still if I would consider about signing up, I would do it now.

Guarac- I have the same question. Anyone have any experience with AdSense vs. Auction Ad?

Great offer, but don’t they pay out on cost-per-action? If so, doesn’t that mean the items need to be REALLY relevant to your content?

Patrick – yes thats right. Therefore, certain blogs will do really well with it whilst others wont. For example, sports blogs might do well because fan related sports merchandise is advertised

It’s just so hard to make money with AA though! I tried it once, I got a few tens of thousands of impressions, nearly a thousand clicks, no earnings, pretty sad in my opinion.
Now they’re trying to tempt new people with this chocolatey goodness!

If you combine this with the Text Link Ads offer you can really get a nice little war chest to start a blog. I posted a five step technique yesterday, you essentially get $125 of free advertising. http://www.oakinnovations.co.uk/blog/2007/09/07/free-money-for-bloggers-yes-but-invest-it/

Figured I would give it a try. Very easy to sign up, took less than 3 minutes.
You can still keep Adsense along with it, so let’s see how it goes.

How much traffic would you need to see results with these ads? Or google ad sense?

I`ve received a lot of money with Adsense, no i`ll try AuctionAds.
Keep it going with the good tips …

Jake – nothing to resist mate. It’s an ad system well worth experimenting with.
Gaurac – I probably wouldn’t replace AdSense with AuctionAds – but at first would run them side by side to see how they go on your blog. I find that they work well on some sites but not others (as all ad networks do) – so test it first in a smallish way.
Chip – not sure if they have any other payment methods – I’d email them.
Patrick – yes the ads will need to be relevant – but the same is true for all ads on a blog if you want a good conversion. I’ve found that AuctionAds work well on blogs with topics that have a product focus – particularly those with a second hand market.
Kevin – spot on.
Multimediamotion – really hard to say. Obviously the more traffic the better. I have some sites that have smaller amounts of traffic that earn more than bigger sites using ad systems like AA and AdSense.
Jack – I understand the skepticism and think that that’s probably a healthy reaction as there are some scams out there. However I think if you take it at face value you’ll do ok – ie you only get the $25 if you make another $25 – but it’s a good head start. As I’ve said above – it works well for some but not so well for others – it’s one of those things to give a try and see if it suits your blog.
Chirag – try some of the tips on my Finding readers for your blog page.
