Let me add a tip of my own.

Let me call it ‘Breathing New Life in an Old Story’:

Today the New York Times asks readers to offer their ‘Life List’ in ‘Things to do before you die’

It just happened that I wrote about a year ago ‘5 things to eat before you die’ on ‘Serge the Concierge’ so I commented with link to the story http://www.sergetheconcierge.com/2006/08/5_things_to_eat.html and I could see the results very quickly.
