My name is Darren Rowse and I’m a full time Blogger making a living from blogs like
Thank you for including a link to two of my articles Darren. I see that I have a great deal of reading here ahead of me too.
Dear Darren,
I can’t thank you enough for highlighting my post here. It is humbling to a learner like me (I learn from you and that makes me a learner) to know that the person I am learning from finds my post worth highlighting.
Cheers!
By the way, is there a limit to the number of submissions we can make? I know the daily limit is one but what about the limit for the whole project?
That’s a lot of quality reading. It’s nice to see my little contribution, ‘Creating Signature Content’, among such great company.
Darren,
I hope you will have one massive list of all the submitted posts once the month is over. There is tons of reading and it would be nice if all the posts in one spot.
Thanks for the link love,
Jason
Thank you for including my 12 First Rules Of Writing. It was the end result of a group writing project – a most encouraging conclusion.
There are some interesting tips here. I particularly liked How To Write When You Can’t by Kathryn at The Peculiar Club, and also One Week To A Professional Blog by Simon at Oak Innovations, which basically outlines what you might be able to achieve if you set aside one whole week exclusively for blogging.
As I said on my blog, you are a genius and you are really helping people out with your projects and contests. Thanks Darren! I don’t think you will ever know how much we all appreciate you and the link love you create.
Darren, you are a linking machine! I haven’t submitted yet but am enjoying reading the posts.
pablopabla – one per day is fine. I guess that means the limit is 31 if you do one every day. Although unless your blog is about blogging I’m not sure how your readers will enjoy all the posts on that topic! I’d recommend a few quality posts rather than lots of poorer quality ones if you’re looking to grow a lloyal readership.
Jason – I’m compiling it all at the central 31 Days Project page
Thanks everyone for contributing. I’m still reading all of today’s links myself – there’s a lot of reading to do in this list! :-)
It is hard to beat the quality of a targeted visitor, unlike social network traffic which may boost the ego (due to sheer numbers) but do little for building regular subscribers.
Long tail can often be the best way to get the highest quality traffic. That said, I’d rather own the short tail #1 position, and defend it well, than try to get by on tons of long tail #1′s. Diversification? Tell your local fuel station about diversification. You stop there ever week for gas don’t you? Own the market, be the market.
There sure is, I have read through many of the links.
Wow. I was looking forward to (hoping) to be included in your next list of tips. I didn’t expect to be the first one on the list.
What a treasure trove of tips and opinions. I really think you’ve outdone yourself on this one, Darren. Thanks for compiling all of the links in one location.
Hi Darren,
LOL! I won’t have so many tips to share on a daily basis but I sure am learning more from this experience than writing.
dear darren.. i’am a beginner from indonesia. i would like to ask u about how if we get the article from others web? what’s the legal said? thanks bro. i hope youll better everyday…
Darren this project is doing wonders for my blog, ‘there aint no reader like a Problogger reader’, they read my blog for an average of 20 minuets each!
I just wanted to send a note of appreciation. Although I am unsure as to how I ever got to this website…I am thankful I did. I am quite a bit behind on my ‘to do list’ but the changes that I have made just within a few day times has increased my readership from 24 to now 35 a day…I know I am a speck in the blogosphere but I am thrilled with this ;) Thank you. Gotta run…I have a lot more to learn and implement!!! I also want to thank many of your commenters that have been kind enough to respond to my questions and help me with a few ‘newbie’ concerns…they have been very gracious!!
Darren,
Another great batch and thanks for the 2 links. I must ask though. How many submissions do you get in a normal day?
I would imagine it is more than the 70 you’ve chosen, but I’ve been wrong before.
I just joined Yaro’s mentoring program and it seems fantastic. Thanks for the recommendation. It weighed heavily in my decision.
Hi Darren,
Thanks for the link love. More power to problogger and best of luck in your 31 day group writing project. I hope to submit at least one blog-related entry a week.
Keep it up!
Regards,
Mon

Thanks for the link… There is a lot of knowledge compiled in that list of 70
Thank you all for these articles! I am learning so much!
Thanks for including me in the list Darren. The series is great as are many of the readers tips. Like a lot of your series this is one I’ll be coming back to again and again.
Darren, Thanks for including my post in one of the lists. It’s amazing how much traffic one link on your site can drive– even when that link is nestled among so many! Plus I’m avidly reading the other links.
One of the many things I learned from your blog is this: Posting good information is good. Collecting and organizing it so interested people can quickly find it is great!
Thank you Darren for the links. There is a lot of good information that will take awhile to get through.
Darren,
Thanks a lot for the link. It’s much appreciated.
Thanks for all of the useful information. You’re great!!!!
Ooops, the link to my tip Blog Naming — Give Your Blog a “Reasonable Name” got mangled!
It’s http://www.bloggingforbusinessbook.com/blogging_for_business/2007/08/blog-naming—-.html
I will not be thanking TypePad for generating a name with four dashes in it!
Thanks Darren for including my post in your tips.
Very much appreciated. Will try to think of more tips from personal experience blogging.
The amount of useful information in the linked posts is just sick!
Thanks a bunch!
Thanks for all the great information on blogging and all the great tips that are mentioned here.
