The 31 Day Blogging Project Rolls on (we’re at Day 8) and the last 3 days have seen another great bunch of 70 reader blog tips submitted. That brings the total of reader submitted tips to 151 with still 23 days in the project.

Thank you for including my 12 First Rules Of Writing. It was the end result of a group writing project – a most encouraging conclusion.
There are some interesting tips here. I particularly liked How To Write When You Can’t by Kathryn at The Peculiar Club, and also One Week To A Professional Blog by Simon at Oak Innovations, which basically outlines what you might be able to achieve if you set aside one whole week exclusively for blogging.
As I said on my blog, you are a genius and you are really helping people out with your projects and contests. Thanks Darren! I don’t think you will ever know how much we all appreciate you and the link love you create.
Darren, you are a linking machine! I haven’t submitted yet but am enjoying reading the posts.
pablopabla – one per day is fine. I guess that means the limit is 31 if you do one every day. Although unless your blog is about blogging I’m not sure how your readers will enjoy all the posts on that topic! I’d recommend a few quality posts rather than lots of poorer quality ones if you’re looking to grow a lloyal readership.

It is hard to beat the quality of a targeted visitor, unlike social network traffic which may boost the ego (due to sheer numbers) but do little for building regular subscribers.
Long tail can often be the best way to get the highest quality traffic. That said, I’d rather own the short tail #1 position, and defend it well, than try to get by on tons of long tail #1′s. Diversification? Tell your local fuel station about diversification. You stop there ever week for gas don’t you? Own the market, be the market.

Darren this project is doing wonders for my blog, ‘there aint no reader like a Problogger reader’, they read my blog for an average of 20 minuets each!
I just wanted to send a note of appreciation. Although I am unsure as to how I ever got to this website…I am thankful I did. I am quite a bit behind on my ‘to do list’ but the changes that I have made just within a few day times has increased my readership from 24 to now 35 a day…I know I am a speck in the blogosphere but I am thrilled with this ;) Thank you. Gotta run…I have a lot more to learn and implement!!! I also want to thank many of your commenters that have been kind enough to respond to my questions and help me with a few ‘newbie’ concerns…they have been very gracious!!
