FeedBurner Offers Blogger.com Blogs Integration
If you’re a Blogger.com blogger and a Feedburner user then you are likely to be pleased to hear today that FeedBurner has now made it possible to redirect your Blogger feed to your Feedburner one.
Just log into your Blogger account and head to your Settings page where you can enter your Feedburner feed address and save it. Done.
The beauty of doing this is that now you get a fuller picture of your Feed stats. Those subscribing to your old blogger feed will now be counted in the overall Feedburner count and you’ll now be able to track what they do with your feed like you can with those who were subscribing via the Feedburner feed previously.
Your feed counter might even go up a little (although in reality the number of subscribers to your blog isn’t really changing – it’s just counting everyone now).

This is good news. Blogger is a very good blogging software, despite it is a free service.
I use WordPress on my own hosting, but I like Blogger’s services. The integration with Feedburner is a good move!

I seriously wonder what took them so long to bring out this feature. Reminds me of FeedBurner Redirect plugin for WordPress, which was later acquired by FeedBurner.

Great news for blogger users.
What excites me is the possibility of further integration with Google. I’m personally hoping they integrate with Google analytics so I can track feed users a little better.
I wonder what other goodies they have in store for us?

It’s actually Blogger that “made possible” for redirecting the feed, it has pretty much nothing to do with FeedBurner.

Thanks for this Darren. I made the change, and my Feedburner chicklet resulted in a 114 jump!!! Now it shows 187 readers! :)

If you have a blogger blog and haven’t done this yet then I think you should. My subscriber count doubled in one day. I was beginning to wonder why the numbers weren’t as high as I thought they should be. I had always suspected this was the reason, but I never thought it was this BIG a reason.

A question for anyone out there;
I am a blogger.com user. I use Feedblitz for email subscriptions. I also use a link to Feedburner for those who want to subscribe via RSS feeds.
If I use this redirect feature, does that mean my Feedblitz email subscribers won’t get an email from Feedblitz anymore and that they will get an email notification from Feedburner instead?
