Group Writing Project is Closed

ProBlogger Site News 20 comments

Just a short note to say that this week’s ‘Top 5′ writing project is officially over.

The ending of the project coincides with me being out with friends – so I’ll post the final list of today’s submissions later tonight. The prize winner will be announced tomorrow (as I want to double check that everything is accurate before doing so).

Stay tuned and thanks to everyone for participating – it’s been a great project!

  • Alrighy. I’m not counting on winning any money (since I’m not even sure I submitted on time), but I sure would like to read the winning entry. Good luck to your server, whoever the winner is.

  • So the project is finally over. heh. This has been a great week! I thought that the winner wil be announced today. Oh well, It doesnt matter. Good luck to us all!

  • It doen’t matter I win or lose… I already get many advantages from this contest… If next month there is also contest like this, I’ll join for sure!! It’s a great way to promote my blog and getting lots of backlink..

  • It was all good and fun…I got more visitors to my page and found some pretty nifty feeds….so who’s the real winner? :)

  • The suspense is killing. Congratulations to whoever won the project. I’m sure your entry is worth reading.

  • Congratulations Darren, the whole thing has been great fun, and I think lots of us have benefited from new backlinks, comments and discovering new blogs to read.

I’ll definitely participate again next time.

  • It’s been a great benefit to my blog and readers. Thanks. Hopefully those who visited will keep visiting. I returned ALL my comments!

  • Thank you Darren for providing the oppertunity. I have had fun participating.
I am looking forward to the next group writing project.

  • I should say thanks to you Darren for let us participate in such a nice project.

I am still reading the top 5 posts, and finding interesting things all over them.

  • Its been fun, and my readers enjoyed it just as much as I did. I received several emails saying that enjoyed the blogs I linked out to. Great job everyone!

  • Thanks again for this, worked out really well. I’ve been dugg, stumbled upon and had more then a dozen pingback’s from a wide variety of sites.

  • Darren, this has been great (even though it’s not over yet, I’ll still be reading through today’s submissions). I’ve found so many useful and entertaining blogs that otherwise I don’t know when I would have.

Thanks for all of the time you’re putting into this. I bet you needed that break to get out with your friends!

  • Darren, I hope you can share with us the benefits of running a contest.

  • This was a really fun project and I’m glad that I participated. It’s the first time I’ve ever done anything like this. It was the biggest visitor day on my small little blog, I had quite a few encouraging comments and a lot of pingbacks.

Plus I stretched my writing skills a bit to try and produce something Darren worthy, which is quite a stretch for me but something to dream about. lol Perhaps one day… one day.

  • The End.

  • my blog has just appeared on the first page for google search, keyword ‘visit malaysia’
It was on third page before.. thank you everyone for making my dream happen..

  • Well, now there’s nothing to do except to cross your fingers and hope that you win the $1001.

  • [...] to be another submission to the group writing project being run by problogger, but it looks like I missed the cut-off time. To quote Sil on the Sopranos, “whaddaya gonna do?” (Actually, I that could probably be [...]

  • Wow, thanks for this project. My CTR for Adsense has dropped to 1%, which means I didn’t make any extra money, but my traffic tripled. This is as good as being on Lifehacker last week!

  • The contest was a lot of fun. I got traffic to my blog and I visited a lot of blogs I wouldn’t have known about otherwise.
    Thanks much!
