Like many others, I’ve missed the last couple of group writing projects due to other commitements, but hopefully should have time to enter into this one.

I’m also quite sure that the exposure an author gets for taking part in one of these writing projects is more than enough compensation for the time taken to take part. While a prize or two is a nice incentive, I’m sure most are more bothered about getting some of the link-love that the projects generate.

I missed the last few projects, I plan to participate in this one. The prize really does not matter, these projects are worth the effort without them.

Darren, one sponsor offering a combination of prizes is a good solution. Anyway I am pretty sure someone will offer something cool and valuable, it is just a matter of getting creative.

Daniel – you could be right although one option that one potential sponsor is offering is a combination of two or three things.

If it doesn’t work out and I don’t feel I have enough to make the prize worthwhile I’ll go back to the old model ask for a few sponsors together. We’ll see how it goes :-)

Hmmm, the only problem that comes into my mind is that it will be difficult to find a unique prize that is valuable enough.

The past editions had prizes adding up to thousands of dollars. We will need a sponsor offering something similar.
