Speedlinking - Reader Edition 17 February 2007
Yesterday when I called for reader submissions for a speedlinking post I had an inkling that I’d wake up to quite a few emails with links in them and my suspicions were correct - 47 in all.
What has been submitted covers a broad spectrum of topics -some of it is high quality, some of it I don’t completely agree with, some of it is a little controversial, some of it will be more useful to some of you than others.
I’d encourage you to surf through the list and to link up to those who you resonate with most. Enjoy.
PS: I’ve included a few comments at the end of the list on how it was compiled.

Now get surfing and link up to what you like! There’s enough there to keep you busy all weekend.
Here’s a few comments on the list.
• I was going to include a description of each one but I think in most cases the heading speaks for itself (I’ve included a couple of descriptions)
• I’ve included the link of the person who suggested it only when it differs from the link - hopefully I didn’t miss anyone.
• The order of posts is the order I received them in.
• A few people submitted more than one link - I’ve only used the first one submitted in each occassion (as per the instructions)
• I’ve included all links excluding a few that didn’t work and a few that were from people who submitted multiple links. Thanks to everyone who participated.

WOW!
Now that’s what I call a list. Though, I thought speedlinking was supposed to be a few quick links ;)

Darren, i know you said that you submitted all the links but I don’t see the one link that I submitted about arbitrage that I picked from Net Business Blog. Here is the link I submitted http://www.netbusinessblog.com/2007/02/12/what-the-hell-is-arbitrage/ Its not a big deal but I had to call you out on it :-)

[…] SlashMySearch is a internet search engine that pays it uses as they search. An interesting thought, I’m sure there are plenty of sites like this out there, but I thought I’d give it a try. I came across it at CJCM and IT via ProBlogger. […]

Woah… That some pretty impressive speed linking! O_O Personally, I prefer less links that are more relevant, but I’m not sure if the rest of you guys agree with me. That said, they were all pretty good ones. Keep it up Darren!

Neat idea, Darren. It’s a good way to get all of us to look at other blogs. We all have our favs and sort of plod around the same block every day, wearing our own little groove … with a burst of links like this one gets to see new territory. Thanks

WordPress.com vx. WordPress.org - article seems a bit out of place with the other blog articles. Not complaining, thanks Darren for the link love, hope you liked the article, I thought it was worth talking about what to do when your linkbaiting fails, as its a subject you don’t seem to have a need to cover ;)

[…] I didn’t really have high hope knowing Darren’s high standard so I wasn’t really expecting any miracle from it. However my hope went slightly up last night when I saw Darren’s face in my MyBlogLog widget, I knew Darren was checking on my post so I waited eagerly this morning and was pleasantly surprised that my submission was included in ProBlogger’s Speedlinking Reader Submission this week 17th Feb 2007. Thank you Darren for including me in your project. I have always enjoyed participating in ProBlogger’s project especially the Group Writing Project where I have participated twice. […] I checked my website stats in Feedburner and saw some referral traffic from Darren Rowse - awesome! I participated in a speedlinking post and managed to get my article on More ReviewMe Reviews onto Darren’s site. However, he had only sent me 30-40 more uniques and this definitely couldn’t have risen my Feedcount (which previously hovered at around 110). […]
