Speedlinking – 13 February 2007
- Smashing Magazine posts 83 Beautiful Wordpress Themes You (probably) haven’t Seen
- 45n5 shares 12 tools to help you find a domain name for your next blog
- The Technosailor auction has hit the $23750 mark – with a $30k BIN price – nice work Aaron. I wonder if this will cause a rush of bloggers to put their blogs up for Auction – anyone want to make a bid on ProBlogger?
- Everton Blair has decided to offer his unsold ad inventory to readers.

I’m guessing starting bid for Problogger is your firstborn child. :D

It would be interesting if you decide to put your blog at SitePoint marketplace. Now it is difficult to tell how much you can earn, but I think number of buyers would be very big.
Tingog was asking you about starting bid and if in case you answered him in private – how much is there BIN price? :)

Problogger I wouldn’t even know where it would fall for a price. This is a gold mine right here. I have no idea how high this site would go but I would have to say the starting bid should be no lower that $250,000

The bidder of the $23750 backed down from the offer. We’re back at minimum bid of $7500.

I was about to say that’s great for Aaron, I hope he gets more than 30,000. Then I read his comment #7…
I still hope Aaron gets more than $30,000 for his blog, that would be great for him. He writes really well, and I enjoy reading his blog from time to time.

Frustratingly, there’s really no way to get in touch with Everton to take him up on his offer for free advertising. His contact page forces you to his forum, where you must send him a private message. But when you sign up, the forum won’t recognize your login – !
Hopefully he’ll drop by here and find he needs to fix the problem.
Either that, or he’s sold out of his ad inventory and suddenly has a great problem on his hands. :)

sorry to hear that Aaron.
Wendy – hopefully Everton will catch on to that :-)
Steve – you starting the bidding? :-) While 250k wouldn’t go astray I’m pretty happy to hang onto PB at that kind of price :-)
