Chitika Send Top Publishers iPods

Ipod-ShuffleGoogle sent their top earners digital picture frames, YPN sent sweatshirts and in the last few days Chitika publishers have started getting their gifts – ipod shuffles.

Very cool idea and something practical that I’m sure will get a lot of use.

I’m not sure what the cutoff point was for who got one and one didn’t but have seen a few publishers talking about them.

Thanks Chitika.

    Did you receive one Darren?

  2. Darren Rowse says:

yep – going to give it to my Mum.

  3. While it is a lovely idea I think a bunch of them will be given away or thrown onto ebay, who hasn’t got an mp3 player now? If it was me giving out gifts I am not sure I could have thought of a better surprise of course, just sayin’, heh

  4. Roberta says:

Congrats, I’m sure your mum will enjoy it :)

  5. George says:

Ipods make a nice gift. Much better than a t-shirt or picture frame. Even if you have one, you can always find someone to give it to, who doesn’t have one and would like one.

More news from the successful websites with adsense!! I’m ready to give up. I have read Cracking the Adsense Code, I’ve read your tips (I’d probably still read these tips even if I wasn’t blogging, because you’re such a delight to read!), and paid for a week of Keyword Country and my google results are — I can’t say what they are — but I couldn’t buy a candybar. I won’t give up, because I enjoy writing so much. I think my problem is finding a niche — which I can’t do. I’ve read so many times about how important it is to find key words — but how in the world do you narrow it down?

Susie always remember one thing, NEVER give in trying, keep on going as far as you can, one day you’ll notice your getting caught up with Darren and a host of others. Tips are good to start with in the long run, but in the short run – we all learn from one another.

I too feel the same way as you do about not “getting” it overnight. Remember it took Darren a hard smack at luck in getting where he is today. I sense one day we can all sit back and say – thanks Darren for getting us there! ;)

  8. Darren Rowse says:

very wise words Jeff – took a lot of luck and a lot of hard work over 4 years to slowly grow to the point I’m at now – hang in there Susie!

  9. John Hood says:

    That’s a sweet “shuffle” surprise.

  10. Wonder what the cut offs for YPN and Chitika were.

It is interesting to see how they compare to Adsense.

  11. Weaver SEO says:

4 years of publishing there ads is a pretty good relationship if you ask me. Seems like a nice incentive to keep working with them. Can i have yours :)

  12. Dave says:

Great to hear that all the big revenue stream players are rewarding those that help them make money.

Unfortunately I’ve not had much luck with Chitika, for some reason, but I imagine some sites are very successful with it (assuming they get the right niche/visitor combination).

  13. Good stuff Chitikia – you can never have too many Ipods ;)

Always make a nice gift if you already have one or two of your own as mentioned.

I’d take the Ipod over the sweatshirt or digi pic frame anyday.

Well I didn’t get one, foiled again.
