[...] Polls will again last for 1 week only so as not to drag them on. All Im asking for is 10 seconds of your time to place your vote as this will help me also to get demographics regarding the makeup of my readers. Its also a bit of fun. As a side note, Darren had some problems with the plugin and sidebar compatibility so if there’s a design problem, I may have to take the poll down - for now though its functioning fine.
Too bad it had to be stopped so soon. I've noticed yesterday, after I voted, that the layout was broken. Yet, 732 answers over two days spread, shows a good level of participation. I'm very curious about the results.
Regarding the wp-cache plugin, I started to use it only after I got farked and the server crashed, and I noticed that it messes up more that the polls, it makes pages display blank, users having to press F5 to refresh, in order to view the page.

I've found polls to be very difficult, especially the ones that integrate the results into a sidebar.

Also, when you are using wp-cache like I am, a lot of the plugins out there just don't work. I will eventually have to build a better caching plugin that doesn't break everything.

I noticed there was some problems with it fitting in the sidebar with text overlapping, thought it was just my computer though. I'd say over 700 responses should be fairly accurate. Can't wait for the results.

I've used a poll or 2 in the past, I found them to be more trouble than they're worth. it was cool to see the results while they were up though.
