Masking the feedburner url with a re-direct from your own branded url is a great idea. (as a just-in-case) Since the feeds are so important it’s good to have a contingency plan.

I’ve always liked feedburner even though I’ve only ever used it for small sites. Glad to hear that the company is well founded in customer service and that b5 has had success with them.

I tried feedburner and didn’t quite like how it changed the post title. And although I was given the impression that I could customize things, some options wouldn’t appear in my feed right away if at all. Call it a case of dumb user, but still.
