Good comments here. I would add that the guy I partner with is also one of my best friends and business partner. Early on in the development of Blogsplus Network (www.blogspl.us), we agreed on the extent of our partnership – who owns what.

Having multiple writers is extremely good advice, in order to keep traffic flowing to the site as much as possible.

It’s inevitable that there will be times you cannot post, and having backup writers to keep the content flowing is important.

I can vouch for the value of proofreading.

I have a friend in Bogota, Colombia who proofreads most of my articles, and even scans through my older posts, too.

As much as I value the sage and sound advice on SEOMoz, there’s some shocking spleening miskates.

Given the volume of people reading through that stuff, you’d think someone would take care to proofread…

Hmm….now that you’ve written about it. I’ve been considering to get my best friend to join in my blogging partner. It will be like the good old days in highschool where we usually worked closely together on lots of projects and programs.

I could’nt agree more. I sometimes feel overwhelmed when I think about how a single person could handle all the comments, replying to them and so on.

And yes, motivation and sharing are big plus points too.

I really agree on this recommendation. I recently took on a partner on one of my blogs and it has really livened up the site! She is clearly passionate about the subject that the blog covers, and simply wanted an outlet for her creativity, and also to raise her own profile by blogging for a well known blog in the topic area. It has worked great for me!

True, Motivating is a major factor.Some times even i get bored of blogging scracthing my head what to write and hey i want a break,but my passiosn always brings me back.

If people can partner up and tell each other someway like what they ar working on is a good idea.It helps the bloggers to grow and more aware of it.
