AdSense Stats Tools
Are you an AdSense Stats Junkie? Constantly checking your stats all day long?
Many ProBlogger readers make checking their stats easier using the AdSense Notifier for Firefox which lets you keep track of your stats at a glance in your browser 24/7 without having to log in - however there are other similar tools that non Firefox users might find handy too.
Here’s an older one that I hadn’t noticed before - it’s a Google Desktop sidebar widget which loads information about your daily earnings, impressions, clicks, CTR and eCPM onto your Google Desktop.
If you don’t use Firefox or Google Desktop - check out this one designed for the Yahoo Widgets engine.
If you’re a Mac OSX user and want one for Dashboard you might like to check out this one from Tiger Widgets which gives you information on your last 6 days stats.
Lastly there’s RevCheck which will email you your stats for you (it isn’t free like the above ones).
I’m sure there are other out there - feel free to suggest them if you use them.
Thanks to Hendy for the email about these this afternoon

Thanks for this. Well, I check my adsense stats almost all the hours just like my sitemeter stats. This takes a lot of time. So, I would surely like to give the firefox extension a try. I wish Opera had one too.

Great. Now if Google would just make a simple stats viewier for the Google Homepage We’d be all set…
thanks for letting me know about these Darren.

??? about RevCheck. I have my AdSense earnings emailed to me everyday directly from AdSense. You can set up a report [any custom one that you define] to be email to you [or anyone else - good for partnerships] daily / weekly / monthly.
Not sure what their service provides that isn’t already avaible?

You missed the only one I use (other than Google)
SysSense from Singer’s Creations. Free!
Sits in the task tray and works great. Well supported too.

Adsense Widget 1.4 (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/18308) is great, for OS X users. Dashalytics (http://dashalytics.rovingrob.com/) is right next to it in my Dashboard :)

the adsense notifier Firefox extension is great, been using it for almost a week now
i can see my adsense stats all the time in my status bar and this is just interesting
also AdLogger from AdLogger.org (free) tracks the clicks and report the IPs that clicked and prevent click fraud by blocking the IP from seeing more ads after x number of clicks for x hours
also it shows the destination url after a visitor clicked an ad
really great tools

And then, of course, there’s my Google Desktop widget which looks at your Performancing Metrics stats, and shows you what ads were clicked, and where they went.
Sorry, no actual AdSense stats like CPC involved, but I use it to check whether my readers are going to MFA sites. Check out the details here:

I’ve been using the Google Desktop widget for a few months now and I have to say it’s fairly nice. You get to customize the stat display, time period, etc. to your heart’s content, and the updates are frequent enough not to notice any lag unless you’re sitting there staring at it every minute of the day. The only minor annoyance is that it occassionally comes up with an error saying that your username and/or password is invalid, but that usually corrects itself whenever it updates again. All in all, it’s a very nice tool.

I’m wondering how safe these 3rd party extensions/plug-ins are? After all you wouldn’t want someone recording your Adsense login details, would you?

Thanks for the time saver! I am also obsessive about checking my Adsense account throughout the day. I installed the Google Desktop sidebar widget. All I need to do is check my desktop to get the latest earnings. Awesome.

I used the old version of AdLogger, it was fantastic. But when they upgraded, it didnt work anymore.
I’ve been looking for a replacement. What I liked about AdLogger is that it showed you what page, even what ad was clicked on. The only thing missing, which probably cannot be included in an adsense stats program is how much the click paid.
Do any of these or any other adsense stats program (free or paid) show which ads were clicked?
Thanks in advance
Trisha
