We belive in google gadgets since we belive Google is the most likely winner of the widget/gadget – war.
We belive gadgets so much infact that we’ve created a gadgets directory called Google Mini Apps. At the time of writing this comment the site is still young(about 20 days), but people are already submitting their gadgets like crazy.

I really don’t see the point of this at all.

I find them to be a bit on the cheesy/tacky side, but indeed some may be useful.
