I suspect though that we'll eventually see a merger so that web sites and blogs are one and the same. Whether it's web sites being built as blogs or blogs being absorbed into the content management tools for web sites. We can only wait and see! But totally agreed with his sentiment. I've found that, no matter what kind of site I'm doing, it's easiest to build it as a blog, and use features like WordPress' Pages function to create static content that dangles off of the sidebar/navbar.
