A plugin that redirects to a consistent location? That sounds overly simplistic for me. I may overlook something. That would have been easily done using mod_rewrite. I use it in my blog myself to permanently redirect www to non-www. Of course, you can customize if you want www instead of non-www.

Heads up, folks. If you want to use that plugin, you need to edit it to implode() $_GET so query string variables work. You'll notice that upon activation, your searches won't work. You'll want to deactivate until a new release is out or edit it quickly (if you know PHP).

[...] WordPress has relaunched it’s Theme Viewer now with more features allowing users to rate themes, upload their own themes, comment, view tags, and more. It’s looking pretty nice and the sorting options make it very easy to browse through all of the many choices. (via ProBlogger) [...]

...oh now that I'm reading further the orginal plugin: http://photomatt.net/2006/06/13/wordpress-no-www/ does remove the "www" [way to go Matt!] and the one mentioned above actually goes back to including the "www" boo, hiss.

The redirect for www is a great idea, but I sure wish they went the other way...that is redirected all www.domain.com requests to domain.com. "www" is completely useless and I don't understand why anyone is still using it these days.
