I see that the crawler shows me 4 failed attempts daily on one of my website, but my site is hosted at hostgator, with 100% Uptime, its a pure html static site so no chances of its down or it would block the adverts.
Still iam confused how this 4 failed attemps are shown in the site diagnostics.

Probably one of the most interesting features I've found is the ability to add login information to login-protected page. For more information visit AdSense Help center.

I haven't tested this yet.

very useful feature for troubleshooting, especially for large website with thousands of pages carrying adsense code in them. imagine going off on vacation, blissfuly unaware that several ads are being blocked due to an erroneous entry in your robots.txt on lots of pages... now you can just check it up with one glance. :)

[...] Google Adsense incorporates ad diagnostics for troubleshootingPosted in: Contextual Advertising on June 9, 2006 7:21 am by saurab Google Adsense has just integrated a diagnostic tool for it’s publishers to help troubleshoot problems with the display of their ads. If you login to your adsense account, you’ll notice a tab that says “Site Diagnostics”. Google does have policies in place for blocking ads if the page content violates some of their guidelines. There’s also the possibility that their mediabot crawler might at times be unable to access some of your pages commonly due to the page being inadvertently restricted or placed in a restricted directory (for instance, due to an error in the robots.txt file). With this feature, it’ll be easy to see what the problem is, and correct it fast. Up until now, the only way to troubleshoot was to do it manually, and refer to their FAQ section, but a diagnostic tool from Google ensures that you get to know the exact problem fast. Good to see Google coming out with these tools, especially now that they’ll have some serious competition from Yahoo and Microsoft in the contextual advertising space.
I have plenty of blocked urls in my account. But all of the urls are similar to "viewtopic. php? p= 319677", it is all with one or more spaces in the url. They all say "redirect" as reason.
