I really like this idea of publicly announcing your goals. I wished I had got round to getting on the list, maybe next time. In the meantime I have had a lot of fun visiting these sites, it’s great that people have this place to come together as a community and announce their goals. Just like Weight Watchers ;)
Will we be having a public weigh in after a few months?

On many of links to the sites listed above, when I click on them I don’t see ads on the blog pages. So how are bloggers making money with them? I just started new blog site, only discover that Wordpress doesn’t allow you to post adds on their pages.

If it begins to look like blog might have some appeal, I will consider buying a URL for the blog and perhaps posting somewhere else.

I’m sad to hear a lot of ‘blogging for money’… Not because they believe that they can earn fortunes by writing a storey about a cat, nooo. But because there are people that are telling fairytales about earning millions with minimalistic efforts. I’m a dutch pro-webmasters and our site receives about 50 000 unique visitors a day ( 170 000 pagaviews a day) and we don’t earn enough to live from.

Stop writing for money, start writing for passion and perhaps, the rest wil follow…
