Finally, this is a feature that I have wanted ever since I first signed up with AdSense. It’ll make adding and tracking ad units much easier and faster (which is important when I still only have dial-up).

It’s these seemingly little things that make setting up various systems online so much better. I hadn’t realised it was so new, I just discovered it yesterday – I was already groaning when I realised I hadn’t got a channel set up for my new ad position, when I saw this addition. Excellent. OK so it only saved a minute or so, but it’s good.

It’s like the new addition to Wordpress to add a category on the fly. These sorts of tools are non-flashy and do their job well. More of them, please!

Yup, been annoying me too lately getting through setting a new ad up only to have to start again when I realize I haven’t created a new channel.

So this simple tweak was much needed.
