Jason Calacanis Talks about the AOL Sale – Podcast

Posted By Darren Rowse 9th of March 2006 Blog Networks 0 Comments

If you’ve been watching the rise of Weblogs Inc over the last couple of years and want to hear some of the behind the scenes story of the AOL sale then you might want to listen to an interview with Jason Calacanis recounting the story on a techcon TPN podcast. Jason talks about the highs and lows of the last couple of years, the sale itself, gives some entrepreneurship advice (resiliency is the word) and talks about the wider industry (it’s frothy – not a bubble). Well worth the listen.

  1. Do you know of anywhere that has summarised the podcast? Despite their popularity, not all of us enjoy sitting around listening to the voice of someone who is clearly not a professional broadcaster. Cheerio!

  2. Sorry Tim – havn’t seen it in written form. I actually like the rawness of that podcast. It’s recorded at a conference with the background noise and you can kind of sense J and E bouncing off the vibe of their surrounds.

I guess it’s each to their own in terms of likes but to me that’s the beauty of podcasting – a couple of people chatting and allowing people to listen in.
