ProBlogger in Coolum

Just a note to any fellow Aussies in Queensland (the Coolum area). I’ll be there from Sunday through to Tuesday for a conference and I’m sure I could find a little spare time for a beer/coffee/stroll on the beach.

I’m not sure of the conference (that links to last year’s one – can’t find an 06 one) schedule but there’s sure to be time. Let me know if you want to hook up.

PS: Just noticed that Cameron Reilly is in town for the same few days (looks like we’re both booked into speak at the same gig without knowing each other is on).

Hey Darren have fun in Coolum I wish I was going… didn’t even know about it.

It would be cool if you had a mailing list of conferences you present out in Australia.

to poster #1: I guess it relates to “media relations strategy”. I went to the website Darren pointed out.

  4. Darren Rowse says:

calvin – yep – added the details (out of date) to the post above

hone – I think it’s a conference that’s not been advertised outside of the sphere of it’s attendees (journalists and writers). I think this will be the first time a blogger has been invited.

mark – yeah it’s for technology writers. I added that link after calvin asked.

I presume you’re at the Hyatt, nice resort. I bet its really hot and sticky though there at the moment, I lived in that neck of the woods for two years…I still still remember going down to Mooloolaba in August and seeing all the pale white people from Melbourne swimming in the middle of winter :-)

  6. Darren Rowse says:

Yeah – it’s gonna be hot – hope the Hyatt has a nice pool.

  7. Donna Hamer says:

I live on the Sunshine Coast, it would be great to catch up for a cool drink.

However a stroll on the beach may not be in order as it is raining and it is predicted to rain for the rest of the weekend !!
