Award
Ok – time for a little fun. I asked over the weekend for your nominations for the Best Blog Award Award (tounge firmly planted in cheek) and received 9 nominations via comment and email.

The list is not an exhaustive blog awards list (I did a quick search on Google and found another 20 or so very quickly) but it’s who you nominated :-)

So let voting begin!

update: in a strange twist of fate another Melbourne blogger is doing a very similar thing over at Anonymouslefty. As Swade points out in comments below – ProBlogger might just have some competition in the Blog Awards Awards Award next year.

  1. Funny. I think Anonymous Lefty in Melbourne is doing a similar thing. If I find another one them I’m going to be forced to start the Blogging Awards Award Awards (The BAAA’s)

  2. Hmmm, with six votes in it’s a tie between “ProBlogger’s Best Blog Awards Award” (meta!) and “I Detest Blog Awards.”

I think we’re about to learn a lesson about what people really think about all of these award things…

  3. I know you hate self promotion so I won’t mention that my AFL footy podcast is nominated for a best of blogs award (podcast section suprisingly) and I definitely won’t mention that if you wanted to support an Aussie, or the little guy, you could vote for it buy searching for “afl” on the following page (it takes a while to load): http://www.thebestofblogs.com/vote-here/

I will say though that I voted for Best of Blogs as it seems a really interesting award (that or I am bias) but like the idea of the Australian blogs awards voting system (even if it is a little involved).

    TIA
    Molly
PS. I Hope this comment is okay, its a little tongue in cheek like the rest of the post.

  4. hehe – true Michael.
