Do you Blog for any Blog Networks? – Poll of the Week

Posted By Darren Rowse 24th of December 2005 Blog Networks 0 Comments

This week’s poll of the week (it could actually run for two weeks while I’m away) asks:

‘Do you Blog for any Blog Networks?’

I’ve just left two options for answers, yes and no.

I’ll leave a definition of ‘Blog Networks’ up to you to define for yourself. I’m not interested in a debate on the issue of what is and isn’t a network except to say that if you think you are a part of one then please answer yes.

If you want to discuss the poll or share why you answered what you answered – feel free to do so in comments below.

  1. No blog network for me.

  2. Yes – I only blog for networks – 3 of them right now.

  3. Yes. 2 of 3 blogs are on a network.

  4. I currently blog on what could or could not be considered a network, I really don’t know if it is (mostvaluablenetwork.com), and, sometime in the next few weeks/month-(s) will be joining b5 media, so where does that put me?

  5. No, no blog network, unless you consider my 3 blogs (soon to be 5) a network.

  6. Heh, I am a “blog network” formal ;)

  7. I have been reading your posts for a while now. While I am not currently blogging for dollars I do enjoy your insights. So thank you.
And I also wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas..

  8. Darren, I think another interesting poll might be, “How many blog networks do you blog for – none, one, or more than one?” After all, 41 of your first 100 poll voters on this poll have said they are involved in network blogging (nogging? It must be Christmastime).

  9. That is a tough poll question because, no I do not blog for a “network” but I have basically begun a network of my own by expanding and starting new sites. They are all linked to one another so I figure its a form of networking.

  10. I do not blog for a network, but after a year of experience I will start looking.

  11. We have a network, but we all blog for ourselves. :)

  12. 9r/FF/DM/BM

    4 Networks.

  13. Other than b5 which didn’t seem to work out, I haven’t found any.

  14. 9rules for me too. It’s been a great experience, and I don’t think many other networks out there are able to recreate the same kind of community that 9rules has.

We’re all one, big, happy family (I especially love that crazy cowboy :D)

  15. yes, all webdiarists are the same ;-)

  16. yes. I blog for 4 blog networks.

  17. I’m not only the co-founder of 9rules, I’m also a member.

    Happy holidays Darren ;)

  18. Yup, I currently have a blog at Creative Weblogging but I’m looking around for other networks.

  19. I’m not working for a network, but I operate some pages known as the following:
    Outdoor Bloggers Network
    Photography Bloggers Network
    Travel Bloggers Network

The purpose of these is to list the very best in our blog rolls, capture rss feeds where possible and put them up against one another for a vote by our peers as Best of 2005.

  20. Counting the iFroggy Network that I own as a network, I guess it’d be a yes.

  21. I’ve been 9ruling it for about two months now.
