Blog Network List

If you’re into watching Blog Networks (and it seems an increasing number of bloggers are if the news aggregators I’m watching are anything to go by) you might be interested in the Blog Network List a site by Blog Media which is designed to watch and list the statistics of many blog networks. They are currently tracking 58 networks and 1140 blogs.

They’ve obviously put some work into it as they are listing networks and blogs in a number of ways – ranking them by size, value, inlinks and total traffic just to name a few methods. They are having a few problems by the looks of things with some of their stats – especially from Alexa with traffic but it’s interesting just to see the vast numbers of blog networks (of all shapes and sizes) that are emerging all in the one place.

  1. Thanks for the kind words. I know we’re having some issues with some blogs (actually 125 or so of them) with Technorati and the Alexa stats are offline, but I’m confident that we’ll get those fixed.

    More to come! Thanks again,
    M

  2. As a tender, young branch on a growing, young tree that is one of, as Darren said, the “vast numbers” of blog networks cropping up, I just want to say thanks to Matt and any collaborators for putting together such a useful tool (and not charging the world a dime to use it). Thanks, too, to Darren for letting me know the totals. 1,140 blogs in significant blog networks already – I wonder what that number will be in a year!

  3. P.S. Darren, please fix the “Blog Media” link above from blogmedia.com to blogmedia.biz. Just a heads-up. Thanks!

  4. Oh my, can’t believe I missed that.

We’re blogmedia.biz – some other company is blogmedia.com – though it doesn’t appear that they’re using that domain name for much of anything currently.

    Nice catch Easton!

    Matt

  5. apologies Matt.
