Steve at Micro Persuasion has a very useful post with Ten Technorati Hacks for anyone wanting to get more out of Technorati – which for a first time user can be a bit overwhelming yet is one of the most useful tools on the web for bloggers.

Thanks for the post! I just implemented using the Technorati RSS feeds when searching for nikon and canon info for my blog. I tried searching for technorati tips and stuff, but Google kept sending me to Technorati looking at the “tips” tag. :/

Steve’s a legend … and I thought I was pretty good with Technorati but now I realise I was only using about 20% of its capabilities.

One tip I didn’t see mentioned there is to make a watchlist for your own blog and subscribe to it via RSS. This way you will be notified of bloggers linking to you in nearly real time.
Comments will be closed off on this post 90 days after it is published. Apologies to those this impacts but it's a regrettable and temporary measure to combat a growing comment spam problem. See our most recent posts where you can comment here.
