This coming Tuesday is a public holiday here in Melbourne – it’s Melbourne Cup Day (a day off so some horses can run around a track for a few minutes).
As a result we’re taking off for a couple of days with some friends. I’ll be back on Tuesday evening but in the mean time there will be a couple of posts that I’ve already written appearing here to keep my wonderful readers amused. Have a good weekend friends!

I wish they’d make Melbourne Cup day here in Maryland, or at least a Preakness day here or something.

Did you know that if you follow the link generated by your RSS feed to one of your posts, it is not obvious how to read the previous or next post. The esiest way is to go back to your feed reader (in my case bloglines) read the RSS summary and then go back to your blog from the RSS feed.
Which makes me think… I wonder what my blog does.

The bank holiday was today in Ireland :)
