Recently I decided that I'd like to put two Chitika ads in longer product review posts - one next to the review product image and one at the end of the review where the reader is deciding what to do next. After a lot of trials I found that the only way to achieve this with the x74.org plugin was to have both ads the same size as set in the defaults in the "Options -> Mini Malls" dialog box in the Wordpress control panel.

This is somewhat restricting however, you still have the advantage of being able to change all of your ads from the default settings dialog.

Talking of plugins, we have released a Chitika eMiniMalls module for Joomla and Mambo CMS.

We also have modules for Google AdSense (AdSense Ads, Links, Referrals and Search) for Joomla and Mambo...

> However keep in mind that inserting ads inside individual
> posts means that you later on if you want to remove ads
> or change colors of them that you will probably need to go
> back to each post you’ve inserted them into to manually change
> them.

Actually, if you want to change colors, no manual changes needed for each post.

The plugin works as a filter-- so you can go right into the plugin and customize your colors, etc, and have it take effect globally across all your posts (past ones, too).

Is it OK to put individual ads in the content alongside ads which I already use in my templates?

If you use the AdSense-Deluxe Plugin you can change the color you just change it in the main admin screen and it reflects on all the other post you use the code in. As for the removing of the code you can just turn off or delete the specific ad and all the post with that ad is gone.
