Good luck with the project! Although I don't know what it is, I hope it takes you to where it's meant to. :)

Now off to read the interview.

Hey Darren!

Thanks again for the interview. If you're ever in Portland Oregon area we'd love to have you and your wife over for dinner - my husband doesn't need an excuse to BBQ and I'll make an apple pie. Thanks again and keep me updated on your future endeavors!!!

Good luck with your "real life" project :)

There is a massive influx of bloggers trying to blog professionally so things are getting a bit cluttered.

Things usually settle down quite quickly. Some people I know attempted to start web sites and blogging after seeing me working on web forums, and blogs. Almost all of them seemed to drop out with out a fight at the first sign on an inconvenience.

Another industry saw an influx recently (year or two ago) and that was the web hosting industry. A while back almost everyone was getting servers and renting out web space. Most of them started with little or no planning and they all managed to kick themselves out of the standings. In the end only the most resilient and well prepared people were left standing after the dust settled. I imagine the same will happen in the problogging communities as well.

I'll continue to develop my current sites but am working on some new projects also. In the next few weeks I'll be launching a new blog network with a number of other bloggers. I'm also chatting to publishers about a book, am running a course called Six Figure Blogging with another blogger, and am planning a number of new blogs.

wow. you are definitely way ahead of the average blogger. Thankfully there still seems to be plenty of space left on the internet for many others to comfortably find their niches. :)
